Nice trip down memory lane, very sweet

Nice experience, interesting, comfortable. Frontline staff nice, helpful. Could have more GF/DF items, but there was enough that it worked, in the breakfast (and thanks for providing the breakfast--we did not expect it!). The only thing we missed is--no wake-up call! Which we did manage on our own. Might we good to have more info on local restaurants. If it was there, we did not see it. Bit of a hardship with the parking, given the rain and cold (my husband braved it, but it kind of affected his health on the next leg of our trip!). Overall we liked it. You are doing a great job with the place and these observations are for fine-tuning.

I stayed here for work and had a great stay. I loved the charm of the lobby and the antique vibe. I would recommend they put some kind of docking station on the night stand, so you can easily charge your phone at night. The breakfast is continental (light options-yogurt, muffins, toast, cereal). I would stay here again. Felt clean and safe which are really the most important things to me when traveling for work.

Beautiful historic hotel in downtown Eureka. Walkable to restaurants and old town area. Easy parking. Small bar open some nights of the week, with comfortable seats and nice drinks. A continental breakfast is offered, but we did not utilize. Room was okay with lovely old furniture, but quite dated and not well maintained. For example, our toilet did not flush. The bed was oaky and the room size is good. There is a couch and a small fridge. The sink is outside of the toilet/ shower room, which I like. However, if you need to wash your hands at night, the light will wake up your partner. Overall, this hotel was very affordable, and the historic nature is interesting. It just needs a little updating to make it luxury again.

Room was comfortable and in particular, the bed. This time of year and there aren't many guests so it was quiet which is always nice. Only issues I came across were thusly: of three light bulbs above the bathroom sink, one was blown, this necessitated a trip to the front desk to get a replacement most hotels will provide a spare roll of TP but this was missing in my room. it was obvious that housekeeping does not wipe down the top of all furniture between guest(s) use of the rooms for all the furniture in my room was sticky to the touch. a very small heater built into the wall was all that was provided to keep the room warm. turned out to be a bit of a joke. The toilet had an option when it came to flushing it so this hotel is saving water. nice touch. Extended my stay another night which required me to check-out and then check right back in. something happened and I had to run my credit card twice. as such, and presently I have 2 charges on my credit card instead of just one. will look to see if that's still the case in a few days.

Our room was very nice and clean. Bed was comfortable too. The bathroom was small but when ones stay at a Victorian Inn, it's not a big deal. The lobby and sitting room was beautiful, and loved the old telephone booths. We had to laugh as we grew up using it. We would stay again and tell our family and friends about our stay that it was perfect.
