The location was convenient. I was surprised that some basics - shampoo, tissues- weren’t available. There were no hangers in the room. Coffee is available, but when I went to get coffee, there were no cups. Attendant was on the phone and I didn’t wait (this only happened once). The lighting was unusual- the entire area is either on or off. We were there 3 nights and there was no maid service - no fresh towels, no empty wastebaskets. You can’t choose what area you want lit. There is only one chair in the room. Fortunately, the evenings were cool - it seems like we could only adjust the fan, not the temperature.

The person who checked me in was average at best as far as welcoming. The room was hot when we entered. I went to the thermostat which was turned to the appropriate setting. The bathroom appeared clean until I went to shower the next morning and I could see grime l. The shower curtain looked moldy. I wouldn’t stay here again willingly.

House of Bad Maintenance

My first room, the air conditioner didn't work, the TV didn't work, the desk lamp didn't work, and the house phone didn't work. They gave me a second room where the A/C would only work at full blast, but at least it cooled the room. The house phone in the second room also did not work, and the TV worked, but it was half the size of the one in the first room. At least the personnel I dealt with did their best to help, but hotel management must not be willing to spend any money to get things to work.

We needed 2 rooms on a busy weekend in Eugene (just a place to sleep after an event). $800 to $1000 for 1 night was what we were facing, and that was not happening. This place fit the bill.

The room had Ben updated and was very clean. The heater/airconditiiner unit was working poorly. The had 3 sheets a thin blanket with no conferer and the tv was unworkable. It was $170 room. It was nice and close to restaurants..would not recommend the Denny’s.

Do yourself a favor and just don't

Wifi was down when I arrived so there was a line up out the door of people waiting to check in. Got my key, got into the room and was completely underwhelmed. It was clean, I'll say that. The bed was small and uncomfortable, there were several wires and electrical cords hanging down from behind the TV, the tv was mounted crooked so I kept feeling like I had to tilt my head to the right to watch it, the remote control didn't work to turn the tv on/off or for volume control, the minifridge was turned down so low it froze my sodas, the microdesk/workstation/tv mount thingy had exactly zero plugins for my laptop, the desk chair was easily the most uncomfortable thing I've sat on that wasn't designed for some other purpose. All of which is aggravating but not terribly surprising and all I really wanted was someplace to sleep, which would have been fine except for the people that decided to stand in the breezeway at 0630 having one of those conversations from two feet apart where the participants apparently are required to bellow at one another. After my late workday arrival back at my room, waking up at 0630 on a Saturday when I have another 300 miles to drive was not a pleasant experience. Also the shower made me check for my meds and grippy socks. If you're desperate and that's what's left, it's an option I guess. I'd probably choose to sleep in my car next time.
