Breakfast was really good. The man running breakfast was great and friendly. He loves his Elk Stew and it did taste really good. Hotel itself was an older building with a good interior remodel. Exterior and parking lot looked old and needs upgrading. I didn't like the layout of the hotel. The 2 wings of the hotel are not on the same level as the center building. Our room was on the second floor of one of the wings and in order to go to breakfast, you had to go up a flight of stairs, then go up another half flight of stairs, and finally go down a bigger flight of stairs. It was just an odd layout and felt like you were walking through a maze.

Walls are very thin! We were frequently woken to voices and sounds from other rooms, hallways, and parking lot festivities. Breakfast was an odd mis-match of various sides (humans, chopped bacon, frozen waffles, chopped eggs & green elk chili) Great outdoor covered patio with two fire pits, made for a great area to relax. Location is close to downtown and an easy drive to RMNP.

This place was pretty decent. I didn’t like that their whole evacuation plan in case of emergency revolved around using the room phone, only there was no room phone. Our shower doors also didn’t close all the way leading to the bathroom being soaked after every shower, and both the faucets didn’t seem to work well. The breakfast was unique and the people were kind.

Our hotel room was actually pretty gross. There was trash swept from under the door into our room and there was a bunch of hair around the shower and sink. There was also a brown stain on the comforter of one of the beds. The walls are super thin as well so you can hear everyone around you. Also, when we asked the nighttime desk clerk about the mess in the room, he sort of hinted at me cleaning it up myself with the supplies they have in the back.

Outstanding views, spacious.

It was very comfortable. The room was spacious and nice. We had a balcony, but it was a little chilly to use it. The common area was also spacious. Good breakfast. Nice game room. The only drawback was only one quite small elevator.

The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, and the included breakfast was better than usual. The only problem we had was that the shower drain plug wouldn't stay open. We finally found the magic spot where the plug would rest on the side so water would drain during a shower. The hotel's location was really convenient to the Stanley Hotel, where some in our family had tickets to a concert there, and to Rocky Mountain NP, so easy to go hiking. We really enjoyed our stay.

Renovated rooms, comfortable king bed and lvp flooring in room, no nasty carpet. Breakfast options were different…hard boiled egg bar, granola bar, green chili bar, toast, cereal, yogurt and fruit. Desk staff very nice.
