The room was spacious with a table for games or dinner, two sitting chairs, a microwave and fridge, DirectTV, hooks to hang coats behind the door, small freezer with ice tray, drip coffee pot, bath and shower. Nice little pond, Gazebo, firepits. Continental breakfast had fresh fruit and cocktail fruit cups, yogurt, apple or orange juice, tea, coffee and hot water, dry cereals, toast and mini muffins. Didn't make it to the outdoor hot tub as it was too windy. Walking distance down to the Visitors Center, less than half a mile to free shuttle buses for the weekend for the Dead Guy Days Festival. Thank you for the great communication in email reminders, texts and late check-in instructions to get to the room, map, wifi etc.

Nice hotel close to town

The hotel is in a good location, nice surroundings with the pond and golf course, close to downtown. Rooms are definitely not very well sound proof and we didn't have soap or shampoo but after asking they filled it up. Breakfast is limited to toast and cereal.

Early wake up call

The room they put us in was right below the breakfast area so we were woken up a little too early each day. U could hear chairs moving and hitting the floor from 7am to 10am

overall our stay was lovely, A little stressful checking in because their credit card system would not allow me to use my debit card which should have had no issue what so ever, even tried my husbands credit card and it did the same thing, and the patient gentlement at the front desk had no help to be able to answer why, luckily I was able to get cash and pay for our stay.once we were moved to a room that did not smell of fireplace smoke. I appreciate having a fireplace in the room but it was unbearable to even be in the room the way the smoke smell was so strong. But we did get moved to another room which did not have a fireplace but the room was soo much better, fresh new carpet new paint the bathroom was a lot better also. The centennial breakfast needs updating as we still had to go out to get something to eat due lack of food really.

beautiful views of mountains and nice open field. We had a two bedroom room, It was simple but nice. This is not a luxury property but very nice for the price. We enjoyed continental breakfasts consisting of yogurt, cereal, muffins, oatmeal, toast , juice, and coffee . It was simple food but kept us full until and early dinner and helped keep to our travel budget. We also utilized the on property hot tube which also had a nice view of a distant mountain.

Chimney flue never vented no matter how we attempted opening flue. After putting out the fire, we realized it was closed no matter how you pushed/pulled the flue lever. No one mans the desk after 7 pm, so we had to call someone not even on the property. They told us they would not fix it that this wasn’t their fault or responsibility! We disagreed with that statement. They did let us know that we could leave and they would refund our money. That was at 8 pm and not really helpful considering we had our kids with us and plans in Estes the next days.

Sweet little lodge. Great location. Accommodations were comfortable enough. Was not happy with our room location under the office: CLOMP CLOMP CLOMP beginning at 7am, plus noisy running water in the walls, so can’t recommend Rooms 101 -103.

Surprised in Estes Park Colorado

when we checked in the first room they gave us was under construction, clerk acted like he was unaware of that. Got into the second room through the sliding glass door on the back because the lock on the front door did not work. So after getting in we had to wait for the maintenance guy to come check out the lock and then wait because he ended up have to replace the lock. There are no security features, each room has a deadbolt to get in and out. The same key fits the sliding glass door as the dead bolt. Keys do not say Do Not Duplicate, so keys could easily be made and the deadbolt is the only lock on the front door. No extra lock or security chain lock on the inside of the doors. No security lock from the inside on the sliding glass door either. We were in room 504 if that matters. The bathroom door had to be left open at all times because no heat in the bathroom except from the room. The shelf in the bathroom for the towels was coming off the wall. There were no Kleenex in the room, no extra toilet paper. The pictures on hotel.com are very deceiving. The main picture shows a duplex looking building and it is really a drive up motel. The good part of the room was it looks newly remodeled. Cleanliness leaves a little to be desired. We found dog food under one bed and small candy under the other.

Stunning view, absolutely stunning location. Will visit in future if possible. The staff was considerate to drop a letter for us as we were late to check-in. Only suggestion is that they can improve the breakfast items.

Don't let rustic exterior fool you - room was nice

I was a little nervous when we arrived as the exterior didn't look very modern and a bit more rustic than I expected. But once we opened the door to the room - all concerns were gone. The interior was very clean and modern. We were extremely comfortable here. Thank you
