We had outstanding service at this hotel. The communication before we arrived was prompt and helpful. We hosted an event at the rooftop restaurant and the food was excellent. The location is great , too. We walked to a nearby mall, the botanical garden and nearby restaurants. This was an excellent hotel and we would definitely stay here again.

They charged me for a key that I could not find. On my return stay I found the key but they would not refund me the $10 that they took from me. It’s a little thing but it leaves a bad impression. We had 4 rooms on 2 different stays so much for customer service. Maybe I will stay elsewhere next time.

My stay was excellent,I realized the hard way that my American clippers don’t work in Uganda even with an adapter. So I needed a haircut and beard trim badly. But to my pleasant surprise they had a salon in the main lobby. I was able to get a fresh haircut and pedicure for my ugly feet. Needless to say I was very grateful for that. But 5 stars across the board!!!!

Clean & convenient but need to fix internet
Clean, comfortable, and conveniently located hotel in Entebbe. Lovely rooftop restaurant with good food & drinks. Gym incl sauna & steam room & small rooftop pool. The problem was the internet: complicated system of having to get a new code every 24 hrs (sometimes requiring getting out of bed at nite to get dressed to go downstairs just to renew); eventually they have me a single code for my weeklong stay. More importantly quality of net was poor: “connection unstable” appeared regularly. I couldn’t even do what’s app or teams calls as connection cut every few seconds. Streaming was ok. Front desk said was a new provider since 2 weeks. However for price of hotel this is a major issue, not least in a major city. Colleagues staying at much less expensive hotel down the road had no internet problems!?!

Second stay there, everything was perfect again. Beautiful large rooms with an outstanding view of lake Victoria. Room was very clean with a well stocked minibar. Eating and drinking at the rooftop is very cozy, African food was very good, Western food was below average. Transfers from the airport and to Kampala were very good and safe with a very friendly driver. Staff overall was very friendly and helpful all the time. Close to the mall (5 min walk, safe during daytime) and the botanic garden. If you don’t need a big pool this hotel is the best option in Entebbe!

Airport pick up & check in at 3 am was excellent. However that's one of the few positives. Once in our room (401) we discovered immediately that the road noise was dreadful & extremely loud. We travel with ear plugs, they made little difference. The proximity of the highway was  not stated in the hotel information on Hotels.com Had we known we would have booked a different room. Our request the following morning after a few hours of sleep to move room due to the road noise was duly noted by the front desk staff & they said they would look into a room change. Later the same day we were offered a new room. We moved our bags up to floor 5 to a much smaller standard room (about half the size) Whilst we were happy with the location, it was far from what we had booked so we requested a refund of the price difference which was instantly refused. We were told ‘the hotel has fulfilled its obligation to us by providing the room we booked.’ The receptionist was far from emphatic to our situation. We asked about a room the same size as our booking and were told it was extra to pay. Appalling customer service & it one of many problems we encountered. Breakfast was tired & dated, meat & cheese displayed directly in the sun. I would not recommend staying at KHotel & very rarely complain but it is important when paying $$$$
