A true gem, and one we would happily visit again!

We are so glad that we found The Ropemaker! The service was amazing - everyone was so friendly and polite. We had our dog with us, and he was made to feel very welcome and made a fuss of, and received his own welcome gift, and a large bed and bowl set to use during his stay. We booked a 'Fancy Room' and it was so comfortable! The bed was large and we slept very well each night. The bar service was very efficient and friendly, and the food was delicious, at both breakfast and dinner. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them, or to visit again.

Fabulous hotel. Beautiful, clean, comfy rooms. Little extras in the room were a lovely touch. Bed and pillows super comfy. The room was large and well decorated and maintained. The hotel was very well presented and in pristine condition. The staff were all lovely. The restaurant served delicious food. Slightly more expensive than normal but well worth it. We would go back for sure.

Excellent service, cosy environment , good choices for dinner, brilliant breakfast We’ll definitely be back but not on the 1/F. It can be very noisy in the morning. (Then I know why ear plugs are provided in the room !)
