Better than expected.
Our room was clean and comfortable (much nicer than many others that we have visited in a similar price range). We noticed a few small maintenance issues which we reported to the front desk. Front desk was friendly and accommodating. We would stay again.

Quality Inn Management Sucks
I took a chance at reserving a one night stay at a Quailty Inn as when reserving there was a disclaimer, No Refunds if reservation is canceled. As it turned out my travel plans changed and had to cancel. I called both the Motel and Expedia three days prior to my reservation date hoping they would extend me grace and provide a refund. Well, they didn’t. So not only was I out the cost of one night stay but my cancellation enabled Quality Inn to fill that cancellation with another patron. I think they call that double dipping. Lesson learned, unless you’re absolutely sure your reservation will not change do not reserve a room with Quality Inn as you’ll never get your money back.

This property was in a great location for the hiking we wanted to do. Staff was a bit short-handed/ie working overtime. and it showed in the lack of property upkeep. Room was ok, but in need of new caulk in bathroom. Shower head was leaking/spraying from hose. Towels were a bit tired looking. Breakfast was good, and the staff obviously had added some upgrades w hard boiled eggs, good yogurt, and real butter. These touches make a nice difference. Staff was very accomodating and we really appreciated how reasonably priced it was to bring our dog.

Bathroom was dirty, mostly the shower. There were stains on the bedspreads. Patched holes in the walls in the bathroom that were unpainted and cracking, plus another hole near the toilet only partially covered by a cover plate. Sloppy paint job with trim paint accidents left on the walls. Thin walls made for very noisy neighbors both above and to the side of us.

We had a reservation there with our son’s mountain bike team for a race. Our friends checked into their room first to find black mold, old food and waste in the bathroom and on the ceilings. They called us to let us know that they had spoken to the staff and were shown two other rooms which were in worse condition and that they would not be staying there. We called to cancel our room after hearing this and were put on hold several times by the front desk staff for over an hour to just be disconnected. Then, after several attempts to get a hold of the manager they cancelled and refunded our room. Our friends were there for a couple hours filing out paperwork and dealing with unprofessional staff just to get a refund on their room. We will never book there again.

Very convenient, front lobby staff at 10 at night was very pleasant to deal with, and didn’t bat an eye when I accidentally didn’t book a pet friendly room online, he changed it in a heartbeat and was not upset at all!
