Room was a bit tired, a number of poorly executed repairs. TV reception poor. Food options limited due to location. But it was clean and the location is perfect for Yosemite.

Absolutely love everything about this place! We had a room with a balcony overlooking the river and falling asleep to the sound of the rushing river was heaven! It's not far from the Park and parking was plentiful. Just beautiful!

Our recent stay at Yosemite View Lodge was a pleasant experience overall, with a few standout positives and minor drawbacks worth noting. The check-in process was seamless—quick, efficient, and friendly, which set the tone for the rest of our visit. Plenty of parking was available, making it easy to unload and settle in without any hassle. Our room featured a well-stocked kitchen, which was a great bonus for preparing simple meals. However, the electric stove was a bit finnicky—getting it to maintain the right temperature took some patience. Still, it was functional enough for basic cooking needs. The general store on the property was another plus—conveniently stocked with snacks, drinks, and essentials, making it easy to grab items without leaving the lodge. For dining options, the pizza place on-site was a hit—the pizza was really tasty, although we did find the beer prices to be a bit steep. On the other hand, the sit-down restaurant was underwhelming—the food seemed like reheated Sysco fare, lacking freshness and flavor, so we wouldn’t recommend it. Despite these small issues, we would definitely come back. The location, amenities, and overall vibe make Yosemite View Lodge a solid choice for exploring the area.

It is a nice place, a little dated but clean and comfortable. Restaurants on site and gift/souvenir shop in the main office. Very, very convenient to the park entrance. A nice place to stay.

We enjoyed staying at Yosemite View Lodge. Location was perfect. The room was nice with a huge bath tub and comfortable beds. The only thing we didn't like about our room was the kitchen. I specifically chose this place because it came with a kitchenette. I brought some food from home to prepare some easy meals at the kitchen but none of the gas stoves were working.

It’s good it’s so close to the Yosemite entrance that makes it enticing, because it’s a huge property with many busses of tourists! But the room was quiet and clean so that’s what I expect. The Merced River is pretty strong right now right outside the back window/porch and it’s loud. There’s wooden shutters in the room to help block out the noise.

The location was great, within minutes to Yosemite entrance. The room was beautiful, the balcony overlooked the Merced river. Our room had a jacuzzi tub, which we did use after biking through Yosemite. The parking was safe leaving our bikes on the car rack. There is a mini kitchen in the room and the store in the lobby area has groceries, beverages and lots of gifts. We ate at the 2 restaurants, which were good too. We definitely would recommend it to other people and stay there again.

The location is the only thing we liked. The room is average. Airconditier was old and barely worked, so we were hot all night. We did not feel safe leaving the window open because the window was right on the sidewalk, and anyone could easily get inside. The TV set was not working, but it did not bother us much.

Clean property close to the Valley. Drawbacks: Limited dining options and no coffee shop (but small coffee maker in room). Convenient laundry room (get quarters at front desk) and if you get a Riverfront room there is a patio overlooking river which was really nice. I would definitely stay here again as the property was clean and location is excellent!
