The location is perfect, easy to get anywhere. Downtown El Paso is a bit a dead town at night, however the hotel is closed to many restaurants within walking distance

Requested my car to be brought up at 4am in order to leave for airport. I got down there at 4 am and I went to the car which was left at the curb but no one was there to hand over keys. Couldn't get back into hotel because I had left key card in return box. No one was at front desk. No one was at valet. There was a strange man across the street watching me and saw that I was locked out of hotel. I was banging on the glass door of hotel and no one responded. I was really frightened and felt trapped. Finally, someone with a back pack ran up to front desk and opened the door for me. I was so shaken and I told him what happened. He then got rude and said "well give me the ticket number and I'll get keys". I was shocked. He went and got valet, who got my car keys. No empathy or apologies. I was shaking all the way to airport. When I provided feedback to Assistant GM, she said that it was a teachable moment for her staff and she said it won't happen again. Again, little empathy. As a woman traveling alone, I would never consider this hotel. They have poor coverage of front desk and I felt very unsafe.
