This is a great all inclusive property for families. We had my 2 and 3 year old grandchildren and there were all kinds of activities (water park) to keep them entertained all day with great childrens shows put on by the entertainment staff every evening.

Overall 5/5. Staff was friendly and quick to resolve all issues such as restocking my room, arranging transportation, etc. Not only so, but my room was decorated to celebrate my birthday. This place is so all inclusive that there is a 24 hour bar. Everything was wonderful. Toughest part is the pool closes at 6 but that does not ruin your stay. Book and have fun!

The property overall is good. The rooms are in need of a good update. I've stayed at better. Please be aware that the tub is in the actually room. There are no vents in the bathroom so bring some type of air freshener. The restaurant closes at 8pm there time and the specialty restaurant has limited seating so the host will redirect you mostly to the buffet area. That part was really annoying. The pools are great. During October when we went there wasn't that much children, so we enjoyed it. The food options were good. Please know that you can use the sauna and jacuzzi for free, no need for spa services. However you do need to reserve the spot in advance. Went with my husband for a nice getaway. Entertainment was ok. Between 8p-9pm. The lobby bar is the best place for stronger drinks.Overall experience was decent. Not sure if we qould stay here in particular, but decent place. It wouldn't be my first choice next time.

Found a gecko running around in our room night 1. We did have a garden view room so I guess we were exposed to more creatures than if we had a pool facing room. Front desk did not have a different room to move us into until the next day. A sweet cleaning lady did come spray our room to help prevent bugs or crawlies from coming into the room.The rooms seem old and run down but the staff is very friendly and the service was good everywhere we went whether it be the restaurants or bars.

I was assigned to room 2009 and since we arrived the internet didn’t work, I had to connect for work and it never worked, I went to reception to complaint but they never fixed the issue

The hotel abvertised free WIFi in rooms but my room had none, our friends that went all had WiFi in their rooms though. I complained but issue was never resolved

The pool was really nice the beach was beautiful and it was close to many attractions; however, they were not many restaurant choices many were closed on certain nights and took very limited numbers of people. No Reservations were possible. The bathrooms had an overpowering smell of some kind of air freshener, and the room service was pretty awful. Could use improved dining options, and better room service. Rooms were fine, maid service was very minimal.

I was kind of nervous when I first read the reviews for this resort so I had my reservations but I quickly realized, so many people are WAY too critical. The staff was absolutely amazing and helpful at every turn. Julio, Jonny and Bryan stood out to us the most because they were so friendly and always remembered our names! The rooms are a little outdated but super clean and have gorgeous views. The drinks were amazing! The food was pretty good overall. Papagayo had the BEST dinner ever, that filet and chicken was to die for! Live music was awesome! They always have fun little activities going on which were super fun. The beautiful pools were always clean. The view of the ocean was amazing. It was our honeymoon so we felt we were given extra love the whole stay! We would definitely come back to visit!
