We stayed here with my daughter’s sports team. It’s a good, no frills hotel. The bed was comfortable enough. I ended up turning off the AC/heat as I could not get it set to a temperature I wanted. Luckily the weather was seasonal and really AC/heating was not needed. My daughter said the breakfast was okay-it was convenient to not have to worry about finding something for her to eat before her games. For a weekend tournament, I would stay here again.

Overpriced train station with Low Quality

This hotel looked good online and was nice until you are passed the foyer. We went into our room and you can tell the walls have been touched up countless times and the walls had marks all over similar to hockey boards. The shower head was loose and when my son tried to turn it on, was a sprinkler into the ceiling. As it was 8pm and I just wanted to sleep, I had to climb onto the tub to tighten the collar so he could shower. You could see the tool marks all over the fitting. Zero outlets near my bed and the one in the corner would cycle off after ten minutes and then if I unplugged my stuff and plugged it back in I would get another ten minutes. You can see the fire surpression was in top working order and the sensor was set up... I paid about $185 CAD (advertised as a deal) for a Saturday night. You got a voucher for a small discount at their restaurant which I cannot speak to as I didn't go. The front counter attendant seemed nice enough. I will not go here again.

Our room was not clean. There were hairs all over the bedsheets and we had to request new ones. The towels we dirty and a facecloth had makeup from previous the previous customer. The complimentary lotion had blank fingerprints on the bottle and was half empty. The bathroom floor was not cleaned. The room was dirty and didn't look cleaned before use. Not something you want to have to do is put new requested laundry on a bed yourself after a 5 hour drive.

Worst hotel I have stayed in. The room was run down and in terrible shape. Stains on walls and furniture. The bathtub was tilted so you had to keep your balance. The toilet was also tilted. No room service and when we asked for extra towels because there was not enough in the room, they were annoyed and acted like it was such a hassle to get us towels. Don’t be fooled by the renovated lobby and restaurant, the hotel is a dump.

I had a great experience, the reception was kind and efficient, lounge and restaurant is very cozy and the staff was a great. The only comment I would have would be that the room I was in was dated, the mattress was lumpy as well as the pillows was too thick or too much filling. The bathroom needs a lift. All in all, it was a pleasant stay.
