Great stay, just need a flooring update.
The room was very quiet and the bed was very comfortable. Staff were cery helpful. The carpet in thw room needs replacing as it had a big stain on it.

The room reeked like cigarettes and we were told we couldn't change rooms due to capacity. Not only did the room smell, but leftover hair and makeup was all over bathroom area. On our final night, my partner woke up with bug bites on her arms. Very unhappy with our stay!

I booked a king room and got a double bed, which my husband did not fit it. Wake up to kids running up and down the hallway. There was no hair dryer in the bathroom. The bathroom mirror was so low on the wall that I could not use it to do my make up standing at 5'2 Either could my husband shave. If you don't speak a foreign language you will not be able to speak to staff to get your issues handle.

I have stayed at this hotel many times and the breakfast has always been included this time. It was not included, and it was a shadow of the previous breakfast I’ve had before I will not be staying again.

I got two rooms for me and my family. One of the lady at the check in was nice enough that check me in on arrival, but checking out was some other lady was just a snob. The both rooms were dirty, a bunch of hair on beds floor and pillows, the surface area and bathroom seems like never been cleaned. The room is outdated and needs a total gutted and renovation. We called to have the rooms got cleaned but they didn’t do a good job at all. The second night they changed me only into another room it was a little better but not significantly great . Booking this place was the first and it will be the last. I would never recommend this place to no one.

Run down
To start, I’d like to share some positives. The price is right. We got a substantial sized room for the dollar we paid for. The location is handy being right on Gateway Blvd and Whitemud. The service at the front desk was friendly and responsive. And we brought our dog which they waved the fee for after our issues. The pack and play they provided for our daughter was ripped up and smelled stale. It did the job for the night but not great. The hall towards our room smelled of old cigarettes, though to be fair the room did not. Our room was run down with signs of mold around the tub, lots of dirt behind the toilets. The AC worked in the main room and the bathroom but we were fixed at 25 degrees in the bedroom, which they did provide us a fan for when we told them. The carpets and furniture are dated (which is fine) but carpets staples were sticking out at the walls and the worst of which was a ripped carpet transition to the bathroom tile. My wife’s foot was bleeding after stepping on a perturbing carpet finishing nail. In that same area there was old an old earring and lots of debris. Though the desk was apologetic and friendly, I’m not sure we will be staying here again. Maybe this is the level of room you get if you bring a pet? I’m not sure but it’s not what I remember of my experiences staying at other Sawridge hotels.

This is great! Beautiful restaurant with excellent food BUT a better breakfast would be appreciated. I’m pleased they allow dogs. It’s quiet and the staff are friendly. Please add higher toilet seats and grab bars for the disabled. The rooms need to be renovated. Thanks

Had originally booked a room with a king size bed for my wife and myself. My daughter was stranded due to Westjet dispute so she ended up travelling with us. They were very accommodating and changed the room to a 2 bedroom suite for no extra cost. Decent hotel for the price.
