The hotel service was great but the lack of dining within the hotel wasn't. Chop restaurant had very random hours and wouldn't be open after advertising that they were (especially for breakfast). Because I was travelling with elderly parents it was inconvenient to find other dining options. This may be no fault of the hotel itself and I must note that hotel staff was very apologetic about the restaurant. The rooms were very clean and the beds comfortable. I would stay again!

When I book something g on a this site four months earlier and the hotel phones me last minute to ask about my booking and when I show up and they changed it on me last minute what is the point of booking what you want makes no sense anymore

This was a return stay for us. Beds were very comfy as remembered and pool area was nice. The restaurant's hours were compromised, the vending machines difficult to locate and not working properly. Both sets of laundry machines were out of order and the store area not accessible. Id think twice before booking again. There are quite a few hotels in the immediate area.

Unfortunately we did not enjoy our stay at this particular Sandman. We’ve been to the one downtown which we really enjoyed! This Sandman had so many FRUIT FLYS!! If i could post a video, i would. the pool windows were crawling with them, so was our room. anything you left out (open chips, candy bar) they’d be flying around within 5 minutes. As well, I had asked the front desk for extra shampoo and they simply said they had run out. No offers to look for more, or contact the housekeepers to see if they had extras. I was just told they could not accommodate me. I thought I was staying in a hotel, not my own house. Overall, the pool was fun, and the area was interesting… but the fruit flies, no shampoo, and mediocre service was disappointing!! would NOT recommend staying here.

It is not very handicapped accessible I figure between walking to my room, and walking to the restaurant and then back to my room and then up to the vending machine and back to my room, I probably walked over a km. The shower was not handicapped friendly. Then there was no convenient toilet near the lobby. They were recommended by the dog breeder as they are a pet friendly hotel. I decided Not to bring my service dog with me. I wish I had. It was a huge struggle without him.

Was not great for wheelchair accessible room. On 5th floor. The furthest away from elevators. Could not get around the bed to access amenities. The carpet is very thick and so little mobility. Big pushes all of the time. Could not open heavy door. Bed height was acceptable and the bathroom and shower were good. Staff was kind. Should have wheelchair rooms on first floor in case of fire . Would not have worked if solo trip. Must have companion for accessibility. Cannot turn around in room. Steep ramps going into hotel.
