It was okay. I mean bed was nice but pillows were too small. The chair for the table was not up to par, the cabinet handle for the microwave, etc was broken, there was like a slit on the carpet. I reserved the one on the tower thinking it might be better but everything was not looking great. It looked like a motel. It needs to get updated, and the disappointment was I love staying at Sandman, I have stayed in 2 of their hotels in Calgary plenty of times and this was close not close to it

It was a nice clean hotel. Excellent security. Two restaurants (casual, higher end Chop) but the lack of basic housekeeping during my stay was frustrating. I sort of understand that daily cleaning is probably not necessary, but there wasn’t any extra coffee or coffee cups for a three day stay. Those items should be checked daily as well as emptying the 1 and only tiny garbage can. And the balcony was extremely dirty. (384)

I booked this hotel by mistake thinking I was booking at the Hilton ( my mistake ) . Only noticed when I check email for address . Oh well it's a sandman can't be that bad . Checked in was quick ..Entering room found a dirty tee shirt on floor . Room smelled of old smoke covered with air freshener . Everything seemed clean . When I turned down bed found dirty sheets . Being tired a late I just ripped the sheets off and slept on top , bed was uncomfortable felt old and soft . Wife was none to impressed ... never again at this location

The coating in the bathtub was peeling off so that wasn't pleasant. We had to get maintenance to remove the closet door as it got stuck and blocked off the bathroom. Other than that, hotel was very clean, staff were exceptionally accomodating.

Came into our room which was so full of cigarette smoke got a new room, horrible bed. Not friendly or warm staff, room forever to get signed in. Hot tub out of use. Not impressed. Was not worth the money
