We stayed 2 nights in Mid February. We were pleasantly surprised by the size of the room and the cool courtyard that overlooked a central courtyard. The room was in nice condition, was clean and comfortable. The king bed was comfortable however the pillows were not very good. Underground parking was plentiful and appreciated as it was -30°C at night. We used the hot tub and the only complaint there would be the people walking around the pool deck with their outdoor shoes contrary to the numerous signage requesting no footwear on the pool deck. For those that followed the signs we had to walk through muddy water to enter the pool area. Perhaps some monitoring by staff is in order. Overall we had a pleasant two nights and will consider for our next Edmonton visit.

Staff at check in was amazing and based on the lobby, I was excited to see my room. I was sorely disappointed. Seemed dated. Bed was lopsided, tile in bathroom was cracked. There were holes in the furniture and the linens were thin. Could have survived all that if the furnance didn't shake the walls and artwork every time it kicked in. Every 30 mins in would turn on and shake the room. Finally, at 230 am when we couldnt take it anymore we turned it off. Got a bit chilly, kinda like camping. Would not recommend a stay.

I can see and it's prime this was a beautiful hotel. We still enjoyed it and everything was fine but the facilities for pool etc. are very dated. The hours that was listed on the website for the restaurant were no longer in effect and there was nowhere to eat. I like to choose a hotel with a restaurant to have supper in the evening and save us time in the morning but it was not open at all. If you bring your own coffee down from the room, there's a beautiful atrium to sit in in the morning and have your coffee

Check in was pleasant. Front desk staff were polite, but personable. Rooms are a bit dated, but are spacious. Restaurant and sauna were not operating, which was a letdown. Our room was right beside the elevator, so sleep was difficult, despite decent mattresses. Due to inability to sleep, we requested a late checkout, which was granted, so we could sleep some before highway driving. NO communication of this to housekeeping staff, who entered our room four times - the first time was before the standard check out of 11am. Unfortunately, due to these ongoing interruptions, no sleep was had. This presents a hazard to us. It was very frustrating.

Bathroom was disappointing, breakfast was expensive, and check-in was slow despite doing the advanced check in. Other than that, it was ok. But, I probably won't be back.

The room was very spacious. We were comfortable and well looked after. Unfortunately the fridge froze our vegetables, and we only discovered how to lower the temperature after the fact on the rear of the fridge in a very unreachable location. We would have rated higher if there had been a breakfast offered.
