We had a small hiccup with our room the first night with there being an issue with cleanliness in the bathroom however when mentioned to the front desk, they were absolutely wonderful to deal with. They went above and beyond to make our stay perfect in every day. Little to my knowledge, my now fiancé was planning to propose and they upgraded our room. I can’t thank them enough for their kindness

Was not greeted kindly at arrival. It set the tone for the remainder of my stay. Room was okay, bed was uncomfortable. The room description said there was a microwave in the room, but there wasn't. Asked for an upgraded room with VIP Access, was told the rooms were available and just needed cleaning. I said I would wait, and the matter was ignored. All round, I don't think I'll book her again.

Really great hotel, I was able to bring my dog and she enjoyed it as well. The only negative was that check in took a really long time and I think I waited 20 minutes before they were able to check me in.

Review for Matrix Hotel, Edmonton We recently stayed at the Matrix Hotel for an Oilers game and had a great experience overall. The hotel is clean, modern, and well-maintained, with comfortable beds that made for a restful night’s sleep. One of the biggest perks was the location—it was only a 15-20 minute walk to Rogers Place, which was super convenient. The only downside was the lack of late-night dining options near the hotel. After the game, we struggled to find a place to grab a bite to eat. Had we known, we would have stopped at one of the restaurants near Rogers Place before heading back. That said, we’d definitely stay here again for the comfort and convenience!
