Didn’t love the addition charge for parking on the property when there was nowhere else to park. But convenient place with a nice view of the river.

The parking lot outside is too small for how many trucks have to park out there. We got parked in and had to wait for people to leave before we could get our vehicle out.
Just ok..it served its purpose for a one night stay for a concert. Hotel and parkade feels tired. Beds and pillows were less than average. Bathroom needs a reno.
Overall - This hotel is tired.
Parking is a nightmare unless you drive a car. Waited in line to check in for over an hour. Was so loud in our room all night, poor insulation in walls. Could hear toilets flushing and everyone coming in and out of elevator, hotel in desperate need of renovations. There was someone else’s hair in our bed. Outside of hotel is surrounded with drug addicts and homeless people. Won’t be returning!
Employee at check in was not polite and didn’t provide much help. Was long line but the size of the line should not determine how their guests are treated. Also there is an outrageous amount of construction in the parking (which you surprisingly have to pay for). The signs said the construction should have been done November 9th 2024 it is now November 18th. The staff did not warn us about the parking situation at all. The only way we found out about the construction was by a tiny sign but the parking garage elevator. Would not be staying here again. If you can fork out the extra cash stay else where
Chateau Lacombe, is a nive place to stay, almost all the rooms have a nice view whether over the vally or over down town edmonton.
Two things that i did not like about them however is that they do not have a daily house keeping service. And the breakfast was just awful, it does not even get close to a breakfast in a hotel in this level.
Convenient if you’re staying for a hockey game. Hotel is basic and the beds are very small. Every sound carries in this hotel and we were kept awake for most of the night. The pillows and bedding were very cheap. The pillows were extremely lumpy and the bedding was a flat sheet and a throw blanket so I’d recommend brining your own.
