The room was fine but the problem was the cafe and lounge only being open from 5 or 5:30 until 10. We had to try to find alternate eating establishments for our meals as we had to leave by 5:15 to get to the rodeo and the rodeo was not over until close to 10pm. Also tried the breakfast one morning and nothing in the buffet when we got there as it all needed to be refilled. Also only came around with one cup of coffee. The other thing is no one knew where they were supposed to pay their bill {quite a wait when it was finally figured out where to pay}The staff at front desk were very nice and extrememly helpful.

Hotel, room and staff lovely.Finding out that you don't service the rooms less then 24hous before arriving was disappointing.( unless I notify you, nobody wants to bother the front desk) I enjoy the small things when being away. Coffee being replenished, , towels, ect. Also it would be nice if the lounge or Restaurant stayed open past 10:00 pm. Especially on a weekend. Your family run establishment is beautiful, I would come back, but it needes a little attention to the guests needs for the price. Your staff is absolutely a number 10 always smiling.

Rooms are nice with great view. Toilet paper and Kleenex is one-ply…not great to deal with. Bed on the hard side and pillows aren’t great. Paid extra to be on the Concierge level where it specifically states on their website no children permitted on the Concierge levels or in the lounge. In the morning it looks like grandparents probably stayed on that level and then grandkids (with their parents) came and took up sitting in the whole middle section and they all helped themselves to the food/drinks/kids toasting their toast, etc. And the kids were noisy. Other people who had actually stayed on the concierge level I noticed, were looking for seating. I feel this area should be supervised properly. If we wanted family dining at Days Inn we would have booked there, but we wanted quiet. It was actually pretty annoying. I did send a separate message to the hotel themselves.

Generally speaking, the room was fine (a bit noisy) but the wifi and TV options were some of the worst I have experienced in a hotel. Probably why it was $100 cheaper than the Sandman down the road.
