Subject: Issue With Room Booking – Sofa Bed Missing Dear Best Western Fort Saskatchewan I hope this message finds you well. I’m reaching out regarding our stay last night. When we arrived, we discovered that our king room did not include the sofa bed as stated in our booking. This left us with only one bed for three people, which was quite challenging. I did speak with the front desk at the time, but unfortunately the situation was not resolved. I was told the issue was due to booking through Expedia, which I found disappointing, especially as the listing clearly indicated a sofa bed. My son ended up sleeping on the floor, which is obviously not ideal. We had traveled all the way from Jasper and had no alternative accommodations available. No alternative solutions or compensation were offered, and I believe this warrants follow-up. I would appreciate it if either the hotel or Hotels.com could address the inaccurate listing and offer some form of compensation or resolution for the inconvenience caused. Great Stay

It was quick. The second I got into our room I wished that we could have stayed another night. The check in was fast, the breakfast was excellent and the room was beautiful. Would stay here again in a heartbeat.

We’ve stayed at this hotel before and have generally had a good experience. However, during our recent stay, we were disappointed with the condition of the breakfast area. The cleanliness was not up to standard, the bin was overflowing, and the trolley for dirty dishes was also full and unattended. Additionally, there was not enough food available, and many of the serving dishes were empty during the breakfast service.

To start, the hotel staff told me there were no rooms left prior to booking on Expedia and while there were rooms showing available on their own website. Further, they wanted to charge an early check-in fee anytime prior to 3pm and the only parking spot left available for us in the evening was an EV spot. There were at least two other vehicles that were parked across two or more stalls. This was very inconvenient after an otherwise tiring day.

Our room 236 is DIRECTLY above the pool. If you want loud and hear screaming young girls for 4 hours straight then take this room. Also crazy smell of chlorine in the room.

We recently stayed for a dance competition. The front desk staff was so helpful and friendly. The cleaning staff did an excellent job and was fun arranging my kids Stuffies on the bed, the rooms were spacious. The free breakfast which included make to order omelets was delicious. I can’t say enough good things to say about this place. If we come back to Fort Sask we will definitely stay there again.

Asked for a quiet room away from elevators, mechanical room and doors. We got a room where we could hear the elevators and just down the hall from the front desk. Asked for a different room and we were told that there were no other rooms available. I don’t believe that we had booked the last room. We won’t be back.
