This holiday is just a 12 minute walk from the Waverley station and it’s right in the city centre. Access to most of the shopping areas and the Christmas market was short and easy, within 15 mins walking distance. The hotel itself was very crowded and a bit cramped. Breakfast area was crowded but well stocked although the food was just alright. Hotel was clean. One house keeping staff knocked on our door twice and I am not sure what she wanted. It was way before our check out time. This was a bit annoying but otherwise the stay was good.

The location of the hotel is great. It is within walking distance to city centre and main attractions. From the airport it is accessible by tram which stops just opposite the hotel. The staff are friendly and accommodating. Breakfast has a good selections to start the day. Will definitely book this again in the future.

Fantastic location
Hotel is in a fantastic location across from the playhouse and st james quarter. Check in was speedy, we had a room on basement level. The room was spotless. Comfortable bed. Amenties in the room as youd expect Iron/iron board Hairdryer Full length mirror Tea/coffee/biscuits etc Soap/shampoo/conditioner Only minor things i personally would want included in the room but would not deter me from staying again, would be a mirror on the wall where the desk is. We had a couple of drinks at the bar, drinks were reasonably priced abd delicious. Only minor complaint is that the chairs are not overly comfortable, you couldnt sit for any great length of time. Given where the hotel is located and our room was street side (025), there was quite a bit of noise, i would suggest booking a room away from street side. I did eventually get a good nights sleep. Breakfast was simple but tasty, small selection of : Bacon Sausages Scrambled eggs Hash browns (were mushy/soft, not crunchy as they should be) Beans Toast Muffins Pastries Tea/coffee Orange/apple juice All in all, would recommend staying here.

All staff are friendly. The lobby serves as a small bar at night. Cheap drinks are serve here. Breakfast wasn't bad. It's a continental breakfast so it's a great way to start your day. They also has the best location as the tram immediately stops in front of the hotel.We will definitely stay again!

Very handy to tram stop for airport literally in front of hotel. Very centralised to Edinburgh new and old town. St James quarter just across the road. Couldn't have been better. Great selection for Breakfast. Rooms comfortable and clean. And coffee and tea ln the reception bar area, when ever you fancied one included in the price of your stay. On the hole very enjoyable few days in Edinburgh thank you 😊 very much guys.

Polite staff,hotel in ideal area for restaurants, shopping and theatre. Buses and trams are nearby too. Room a little small and no fan in the bathroom.
