This modern hotel is about 10 miles off of Edinburgh Airport. The property is new and have nice vibes. Highly recommended.

From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel incredible welcome The receptionist was so helpful and pleasant. Room service was quick and food was delicious. The room was of a great size. Beds were comfortable and the shower was amazing. Everywhere was clean. We had air conditioning /heating. The stay was exceptional and we didnt want to leave. Everywhere was within driving dustance but train station was also near. Great views. Would definitely recommend staying here and was made so welcome. Will definitely be returning. Thankyou the staff at the Dakota Edinburgh!

100% be back again
Positives: Room was a great size, with beautiful modern decor and with everything we could need for toiletries and amenities. Including shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, soap, cream, shower cap, vanity kit, face cloths slippers and dressing gowns. We were in an executive room. We had a coffee machine and tea making facility with biscuits, crisps and water for us too. The room had plenty plug sockets and USB ports. Delighted they were at side of bed. Sky tv was in the room so easy to work. Bed was super comfy and super comfy pillows too. Dinner…. WOW! This was just delicious, food was well cooked and came out piping hot and no long waits. Negatives: my check in was not as good as the person beside me. I didn’t get told where the elevator was, how to book a meal, what floor my room was on, about WiFi, about breakfast etc. I got a fill out for your car and sign and here’s your room. All while person beside me was properly “looked after”. Service for drinks was slow when we were waiting for our dinner table we weren’t looked after in that respect so probably lost some extra drinks out us as we were sitting empty a few times. These things which were negative didn’t impact our stay, just little niggles. Will definitely be back.

Convenient to airport for last night after driving down from the north. Room was really nice for the $. Hotel restaurant booked solid with reservations till 8:30 so make reservation in advance on weekends. It appears locals come here for dinner and night out based on appearances.

First time visiting Scotland, to visit Edinburgh. I booked this hotel because of the high rating, and although its almost an hour bus journey to Edinburgh, the bus stop was just around the corner so it was very easy to get to Edinburgh and back. The staff are lovely and accommodating, I spent my birthday here and one of the waiters was very sweet about it and bought me over some free treats with my morning hot chocolate. The Rooms are lovely and spacious, with AC and heating. Maids come around every day to tidy up and restock any complementaries that are needed. Reception staff are very helpful, the dining was extraordinary. Reasonable prices for the quality of the food. All in all I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and hope to come back at some point!
