Stayed here whilst visiting the Christmas market as a girls weekend away. Triple room was spacious enough however sleeping by the window was drafty especially in winter. The curtain actually was moving out of the window even with the blind down too. The bathroom sink was extremely slow at emptying. No phone in the room so had to go down to reception for additional items such as toilet roll, tea/ milk etc. Entrance to the hotel is down a fairly steep hill and parking was £7.50 a day. Not too far from tram (felt further in the pouring rain) Overall not a bad stay for a budget hotel if using just as a base.

Too expensive for one night (£190, room for three) £12 for breakfast per person - one coffee machine out of two didn’t work, the second needed to be emptied but there were no staff round. We had to wait for sausages and bacon. Understaffed as they didn’t clean tables quick enough It was cold in the room, especially in the bathroom The bed is comfy Receptionists are very nice and helpful but only so much they can do Everything is too old and tired

For me, it’s all about the staff. I thought all of the team were very polite and eager to please. The hotel was very clean and comfortable given what they had to work with which was also reflected in the price of the rooms. Great value for money. A shout out for David who went beyond his call of duty. Thank you once again.

Came in to the room freezing and the toilet bowl wasnt cleaned there were urine marks on it .the beds were so uncomfortable and extra firm didnt sleep well at all and the duvet covers were so thin hardly kept a heat in Staff were nice though The prices of the drinks are a bit steep wont be buying them again

Excellent location and room rates. Overall a decent hotel, however my room overlooked all the air conditioning units therefore a constant noise, which if I had been there fire more than one night would have been a problem. No towels in my room, which suggested room hadn’t been checked before use.

I did not and would not stay in either room that i was offered. I left and found a different hotel. I couldn't imagine sleeping on those beds. The pictures on Expedia were nothing like what i was offered. STAY AWAY.

I was initially put off booking this hotel due to some of the reviews on it but needed affordable accommodation near the West End so just went for it. I'm glad I did. I found it a lovely, welcoming and warm hotel. I especially liked the lounge through from the reception. Cosy fire and chairs. Well decorated. I booked an Executive room so don't know if that made the difference but the room was lovely and well set out and clean. We had breakfast at the hotel and is was well catered with a great choice on the buffet. We had the cooked breakfast which was all very fresh and tasty. Overall, I definitely would stay here again.
