What a great location! My daughter and I stayed for 1 night. We had a fantastic view of the castle! The most comfortable Bed and a pull out couch. We lucked out when we arrived because there was an outdoor market across from the hotel. We found and purchased some great items and food. We were within walking distance to the castle and shops/streets. Everyone is so welcoming and nice. The hotel staff were very accommodating.

I loved the linens, the staff was helpful and the walkability to great restaurants and pubs. The staff did mix up my room with my sister’s on biking which meant explaining this every time we went to breakfast or needed to add something to our room.

Rate of hotel due to an add in night very expensiv
Hotels said I had to contact the hotel when I need an extra night. I am not sure whose fault it was hotels or Apex but my price increased by about 150 going directly towards hotel. I am paying $500 for a 3 star hotel. Lots of cleanliness issues and the hotel said I was not in superior room so I had no air condition or a better coffee pot. They gave me a plug in fan that spit out dirt and filth all over me and the furniture. Horrible! There was no water pressure in the bath sink and tub and the sink clogged up! Then the hotel is asking me for a tip. For a $500 room I should not have to pay for breakfast or low quality robe and skippers for this price . I actually paid almost 200 more! Even motel 6 would have air. And if I got cold, there was a plug in heater. I just traveled all over England and the lodgings were impeccable and less expensive!!!! The hotel said it is expensive because I stayed near the castle!!! I did not know where else to go!!! I am so disappointed.

Hotel located in a very convenient area. All major attractions are easy walking distance. Room was clean and tidy, we had been travelling for 7 weeks and had been sleeping terribly due to really uncomfortable beds and pillows. Staying here was the first decent sleep we had had in weeks. Staff are friendly and welcoming, parking was very easy and reasonably priced. We enjoyed visiting the neighbouring (sister) hotel pool and leisure centre.

The hotel was wonderful. My favorite thing to do was look out my window at the castle. I was at a convention and if I go again, I plan on staying in this hotel. The breakfasts were really good.

The location of this hotel is hard to beat. It is next to the castle and walkable to all main attractions. Close to many food options. The room was clean and well equipped. Breakfast was also available. I would definitely stay here again.
