The parking was super convenient, and staff was lovely. The breakfast was incredible! Location was fabulous, short walk to the Castle and Royal Mile. Safe neighborhood, great atmosphere.

The Apex is a modern hotel in the old (but busy and touristy) part of Edinburgh. Plenty of restaurants and coffee shops in the surrounding area. It’s within easy walking distance of the Royal Mile, the Museum and Princess Street although with suitcases, a taxi to Waverley station is needed. Overall, very pleased with our stay.

The location was excellent! Walking distance to all sites and in a great, lively location. I'd recommend asking for a room on a higher floor - we were on the first floor and it got loud outside on weekend nights from folks leaving the pub
