Good size room. Helpful staff. Good situation on the seafront, right opposite pier. Town centre 1 minute walk away. Good bus service to Hastings. Good breakfast.

Disliked: Cleanliness, room comfort
The service was excellent, friendly staff so we cannot fault that. The room was clean and tidy, but the hotel itself is outdated, the room we stayed in does not look like the pictures online. The carpets are filthy throughout the hotel. The bathroom was tiny. It was ok for one night, anymore I would have asked for an upgrade (if it looked like the pics online) or gone elsewhere.
Load humming noise constany waking up too. Dirty marks on walls . Window view wasnt the best of flat roof full of rubbish . Staff were good and helpful
The staff were very friendly and welcoming. Hard to find the car park even though instructions were given prior to the stay. Some parts of the hotel were very dated. Got a upgrade to a seaview room which was clean but very basic and the bathroom was grotty and the windows were in a terrible state. Have been offered a superior double room on the 3rd floor for our next visit but we are unsure when that maybe. Happy to book soon if get get a complimentary breakfast and dinner.
Old property, dated but adds to charm some what. Spacious areas in lobby and restaurant, food excellent, rooms spacious with tall ceilings, staff faultless (thank you to Liam and Sarah) very helpful and welcoming

Everything local to what we needed ,ie shopping and restaurants
Very old and dated, smelly room and mould in the bathroom, terrible mattress and I no
sleep at all as I could hear noise from the lift. You will wait for the lift 15 min as it’s very old fashioned and tiny. No parking on arrival, we have been told there will be parking available, avoid this place. Sorry
Check in was easy. Staff are lovely, friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean and tidy. The lounge, bar and dining rooms are spacious. The bar food was excellent, plenty of food for the money. Breakfast was very good, lots of choice. A great place overall. The family loved the atmosphere. Great location.
All good as usual, very slight winge was bed a bit uncomfortable but nothing major

Three day stay
All in all had a good stay, check in easy staff friendly and helpful. We had room on top floor facing back of hotel big room but very dark as small window high up, nothing like photos on site.
Asked for an upgrade room with sea view which was far superior to the old room, very comfortable with added extras like a coffee machine. £25 pn to upgrade. Thanks to the staff for organising. Looking out over the pier was nice after a days sightseeing. Great location on seafront, near to plenty of restaurants.
Fairly old fashioned hotel that has seen better days. However, the (single) room was clean & comfortable and everything worked.
A great location, a good breakfast and very good value.
Returning guest, always a pleasant experience at The Burlington. Great location, clean rooms and good value. And not forgetting a friendly helpful team.

Pleasant but dated hotel.
Stayed overnight as we were visiting a beer festival. Hotel was ok, looks tired in places. Room was spacious and clean. Shower was a bit cosy because of handrail. No aircon but windows opened. Lifts looked very old.
Staff were excellent and evening entertainment was good.
Not the cleanest of hotels. It was hot, tried to leave the window open, but had a seaview room, so it was noisy. Food was lovely, but the hotel has seen better days. Staff however, was absolutely amazing. If I came back here, it would be because of the staff, food and location.

Great sea view recommended
Old hotel but definitely worth the sea view, evening meal ok for the price breakfast is amazing choice and great value. Entertainment in the evening and bar prices ok, definitely worth upgrading room as you get what you pay for, staff friendly but evening meal was not enough staff , waited for a long time to be served. Bar staff and reception couldn’t fault.
