We slept about 10 hours in 2 days. Between bass and barking dogs, there was always noise. Staff said they checked for the dog, but couldn’t find it. The air conditioners sound like a plane engine winding up. Staff said they are all that loud. Every bus that drives by creates a vibration through the wall. Overall, it was a terrible stay.

The Hyatt Place in Lansing was a great stay! We had a studio with a king bed, kitchen and sofa and it was super roomy and big. The bathroom and kitchen were nice, the bed was very comfortable, and the room was overall modern and fresh. This hotel was nice, simple and clean and a great stay!

Hyatt House E. Lansing is doing a very nice job maintaining a spotless property. Everything is tight here from cleanliness and serene environment to their customer service. Management apparently takes the effort to actually screen & train employees on etiquette. I’ve been here a few times since my son started at MSU and every visit the staff is friendly, welcoming, accommodating and they must enjoy working at this Hyatt…because they smile! This is my go to hotel now in E. Lansing.

Washing machines were out of order but no sign was posted even though staff knew. There are 2 washers. Someone poured bleach in one so it couldn’t be used unless you wanted bleach. The other looked to be working so I loaded all my clothes in. When I tried to pay (using a required online pay system) the website said the machine was out of order. I informed the front desk. The reply was that they knew, but no one had put up a sign for 2 days. Not good communication from the staff.

Great. But no laundry.
Fantastic stay. Only downside was we booked it for the onsite laundry as we’re a family of 4 that’s been travelling for 10 days, only to find out the machines were out of service and we were told it’s serviced by a 3rd party and nothing they could do. We requested service in the app and heard nothing for 3 days. Other than that it was great.
