Clean but way too expensive
Rooms were clean with comfortable beds. Breakfast had many choices but juices were ridiculously watered down. Hotel was way to expensive for a quick overnight stay as we were passing through the area.

In room, office chair had cracker crumbs on it. Pennies and other debris next to walls not vacuumed. No hair dryer in room had to ask at front desk for hair dryer. Water dispenser not refilled frequently so mostly ice not water. Gravy for biscuits was cold at 0800 on Tuesday. Eggs cold. Used microwave to heat. No sausage patties available or attendant to ask.

Needs attention
I requested a room with a tub and did not get one. Also the bathroom boor was missing paint half way up the door, very unkept. Shower was old as well. The air conditioner seemed to struggle, we got hot in the middle of the night. The second day, we went down to breakfast at 8:30 am and everything was out, eggs, potatoes, meat, biscuits and milk. We had to wait.

Location is good; just few minutes drive to downtown and Durango Silverton train station. Property is in good condition and rooms are well appointed and quiet. Standard continental breakfast. Front office staff is courteous and helpful.

Did Not Have a Goodnight's Rest
The room was clean, but the stay over night was not good because it was loud. The walls were thin, you could hear the neighbor's loud tv and all the doors slamming all night. The ac unit in my room was loud when it turned on and off, my husband and I kept waking up. The bed was very hard, not comfortable. I couldn't sleep on my side and the pillows weren't fluffy. They were stiff. Also, we didn't sit on the couch, it was so old that the couch seating cushions were concaved in. When you sat down, you'd fall into the couch.
