DIRTY HOTEL WITH HOLE IN MATTRESS
Hotel appeared nice at first. Changed rooms 3 times. Second room has holes in mattressesbroken heat just plain nasty. Last room was ok tv stopped working behind stands was full of trash grand daughter found choclate under table. Wpild not stay here again

I checked in, walked into the room and went to check the mattress, where I found a maggot. I took a picture, went to the front desk told him, showed him a photo and he told me he could move me to a different room. I told him I didn’t want to stay there and I wanted a refund because I was leaving. He told me he understood I didn’t want to stay there because a maggot on the mattress is unacceptable, but he couldn’t refund me. So I checked out and left, out of that money. Long story short, I paid for a room with a maggot, and God only knows what else, and got nothing for the money spent. I absolutely would not recommend this property to anyone.

It has a roof and walls but…
Sadly, housekeeping was either non-existent, or both. Black and pink mold all around the tub caulk, the ceiling can in the restroom hasn’t been cleaned in a year or more, dust all around the edge of the room, and the counter with the TV had not been wiped with cleaner in some time, when whipped with a damp towel all the rings and dirt came up. The stairwells were … disgusting. Clods of dirt and unconsumed surfaces were everywhere in every staircase. The bead appeared to be pulled up but not made fresh. The light switch, which was tied to a light across the room had been disconnected, so you had to walk into a dark room. We finally figured out what light needed to be on for that switch to work. Screen windows hanging outside and visible disrepair all over the building. This place did NOT measure up to the chains standards. We didn’t even have breakfast knowing and seeing all these issues. Food was not happening. Though about pressing for a refund, but the prison at the counter, I am not certain they were all present to manage such a request. I don’t care to write poor reviews, but this was worth my trouble. I hope management addresses these significant challenges, or get replaced by someone who will. $85 isn’t much for a room these days, but NO ONE needs to stay in bacteria, dirt, and disrepair.

I give a 4 star instead of 5 due to combination of things. Pros and cons.. Pros: It was very reasonably priced for our family of 5 for 5 days. The heater worked great, it stayed so warm in the room. The toilet, sink and shower worked beautifully. The shower had great pressure and the beds are comfortable. My husband likes soft and I prefer firm and it was suitable for us and our family. Our favorite part of the family suite was the dinner bar area. Appears to be an area where a jet tub was at one point but no longer. The staff was incredible, especially their night audit. She was precious and very easy to talk to. Cons: The carpet was older style and color, the bed making wasn't great, the towels are semi-thin, they missed cleaning under the bed my husband and I slept in, and the face of the heater on our side of the room was broken off and scotched up with 2x4 peices. So maintenance could do a better job. Overall, considering the cons, we enjoyed our stay. It was convenient to everything we needed.
