Pleasant stay

Lovely hotel with beautiful gardens . We had good weather so could enjoy our surroundings . The room had a great view and the bed was very comfortable .Food was delicious in the restaurant .Only complaint was that portions were very big and we felt guilty leaving some food on our plate .

The staff were all pleaant and helpful . The choice of our room with balcony was really lovely with all the facilities we needed. Our evening meal was delicious and a good selection to chose from . Only one small hiccup was that the breakfast could have been hotter , though thats just a personal thing .

The prize of property is the staff who go to a lot of trouble to make your stay enjoyable. I would have give 5 stars but for a few small things that I think would make a stay better. There were no bathrobes supplied and the whole configuration of the in room lighting is too complicated. Should more easy accessible ice machine rather having to go the the bar for it!!!very comfy beds

Great price and location but not a great stay

The front desk staff was hit or miss with a downright unpleasant woman to other very nice staff. The rooms we were assigned were dated and smelled of sewer in the bathrooms. They were not clean but not filthy either and the views are spectacular

Had overnight stay with breakfast price good. Some areas in hotel dated ie swimming pool/hot tub. Bedroom furniture/tv dated also. Areas in bedroom quite dusty. Facilities in bedroom good. Waited 25mins in bar for food give up & left, bought a sandwich in the local shop. Breakfast was lovely busy but staff were so helpful & friendly a lot of food options for breakfast. Would definitely stay again
