The mansion was super pretty, all the rooms were designed well and the bed was comfortable and the room was clean and more than big enough for me, definitely worth it

MURPHY BED. DONT BOOK!

MURPHY BED, DO NOT BOOK!! Worst bed I have ever stayed on in a hotel or BnB. Our backs were toast after 2 nights! Floors were uneven and had large gaps in the hardwood. The bed had a negative incline toward your head, so while sleeping the blood would rush to your head, we slept upside down to avoid this. False advertising with the pictures showing a regular bed.

The place is nice...but it's far from everything if you don't have a car you'll have to walk everywhere because transportation in Duluth is horrible. The breakfast was poor and very disappointed. There's no staff to answer questions, you have to call a phen number...also very disappointed

Very unique, clean and quiet. A few little issues but easy fixes. Main shower head had low pressure, leaked a little and took a long time to heat up. There was a shower head connected to the tub that had good pressure. Tv remote needs to be fixed, we thought it was dead and put it in the window to charge but that didn’t work. It was someone how not synced to the tv. Bathroom did not have a fan which isn’t ideal when it’s right near the bed, maybe an air freshener or something like that for future use. Other than those things which are minor the room was spacious and clean.

Cotton Mansion is a wonderfully renovated early 20th century residence. The lobby, woodwork and fixtures are impressive. Our room was Clean, Quiet, interestingly decorated. Bathroom and Vintage clawfoot tub/shower, tiles and fixtures. Well worth the stay. We'd go back again.

The property is very interesting and historically enjoyable, but Check-in was very poor. No note with entry codes cane for almost an hour after the 4 pm check-in time, and I had to call to get it and wait for a call-back too. Expedia has been very poor, the virtual online assistance froze and wouldn’t allow further typing, and the phone number put you in a circular loop and never answered with an actual person. I won’t use Expedia again after being a long-time user, not the first poor experience. The additional $65 property fee per night added after booking is also not appropriate and a negative for future bookings. Friends have asked about the experience, and these issues plus the $65 surcharge after booking are viewed negatively by everyone and not a good business practice. Expedia was just very poor on customer service.

This was an interesting and unique property. Very clean with spacious bedrooms and comfy bed. The claw foot tub fit in well with the decor but if you have mobility issues, it could be harder to use. And they did ask for you to not wear street shoes inside the mansion to protect the flooring. But we enjoyed our stay! The coffee maker in the breakfast area is great and the pastries were tasty!

Very nice historic Mansion. The room was clean, well-furnished and comfortable. Good location not far from downtown and canal park. Nice neighborhood surrounding the mansion.
