hotel was clean, but the rooms were small and thin. I had several bad experiences in the restaurant downstairs, there was a shortage of staff, it took twenty minutes to get the bill and i wasn't offered drink refills or the dessert menu. the restaurant is poorly staffed and managed.

The room was clean, the beds were comfortable, and I really enjoyed the shower. The restaurant on the property is excellent. I had two extremely fine breakfasts there, as well as an excellent dinner! If I was to ever stay in Dublin again, I would definitely return to The Samuel.

I love this hotel. It’s new and located in a quiet neighborhood. Luas or tram is just outside the hotel that brings you to all the key tourist spots. We recommend staying here at The Samuel hotel in Dublin.

Funky but average

Funky hotel with gadgets galore such as self service key fobs etc. But….just a few niggly things… Shower door doesn clos Room aircon switches on randomly when not needed. TV is rubbish, just a handful of channels but even they have poor service.
