The property was fine and rooms were fine Being a family of color I felt a little neglected especially by the bar tender who was an older lady She completely ignored me as if I was invisible sitting at the bar waiting to order a drink the other staff were nice and helpful hopefully this review helps other travelers

Bathroom had significant mold on ceiling and grout, furniture was chipped, peeling, and stained, tile was broken in several places, halls and the room smelled funky. Dings and gouges in walls were everywhere. Door lock was a chain and not a proper latching bolt. There was no art at all in the room—it was like a prison cell. Bathroom had no ventilation fan, so the shower moisture just vented out to the bedroom. We asked to change rooms because the first one was run down; the description above is of the second “better” room. We paid premium price of 343 euros for a room in what was described as an “upscale” hotel and left with a bad cough from breathing moldy air all night. We splurged for our last night in Ireland in a nice hotel, and truly, I have never been more disappointed. The good parts: staff was friendly and the shuttle was easy to the airport.

Based on my own visit, this place was a massive disappointment. It is really gross when a hotel charges way more for a room then what you get. Honestly this is barely a two star, prepared for disappointment. I will not be going back.

Definitely not a 4 star hotel and fir the price it is not worth it…cheap matress…could hear tv blaring from adjoining room…right now i am in a four star hotel in malaga which was far cheaper and far superior. Restaurant waiters in Maldron were outstanding…made my stay better

The location can't be beat, but don't let the pictures fool you. The lobby is newly renovated, but the rooms are in desperate need of renovation. Good luck finding your room, the hotel is like a maze and the way finding is very confusing. The room itself was clean and serviceable though.

Claims to be a 4 star - lobby is a 3 star rooms a two at best. Rooms look like university dorms, very cheap looking. Worst experience was at checkin at reception. Prepare for very unhelpful staff. And there is no reason to charge the room rate they charge. Really felt cheated.

Ridiculous price for one night near Dublin airport. Room was very basic with the smallest bathroom I have ever seen not what I would expect from a hotel charging $400 plus tax per night. One bath towel and hand towel provided. Tile work shoddy. Carpet was stained dresser laminated top chipped badly. No TV channels worth anything. It was just a bed! Restaurant and bar not busy, menu limited and rooms dull. Only good thing was the shuttle to the airport.
