We were so happy with our stay at Keavan's Port. It is in a great location, easy to walk to things, and walk to public transit. The staff were amazing and so accomodating to our family. We traveled with a toddler, and they had the crib up and ready when we arrived. Highly recommend!!
No problems! Comfortable bed, nice shower, good sized room, great location (near St Stephen’s Green). Recommended!

The room smelt damp (coming from bathroom, very bad there) and the air conditioning / heater didn't work.
I was leaving my door propped open to warm the room up. All my clothes smelt damp when I got home. All needed washing . airing etc.
Staff were nice just shame about the smell & Air con not working - didn't get fixed whilst I was there.
Very comfortable and quiet hotel. The atrium style bar and restaurant was really bright and lovely. The area is very walkable, close to transit, and away from the loud crowds of Temple Bar. I would stay here again.
The hotel is in good location, clean and comfortable for its price, and offers easy access to very affordable breakfast (and other meals, as required), with free coffee - it is on a side of a large pub.
My room was very quiet, despite this pub proximity.
Staff was very helpful.
This place is not ADA accommodating. I also paid extra for a sofa bed and was never given sheets for the sofa bed.

shame about the cleanliness of room
First put into a big lovely double room which we were happy with, unfortunately after pulling back the duvet we saw big blood stain on the mattress and so asked to move room. We were then put into a much smaller, older room which had a used razor in, toenails all over bathroom floor and stains on bedroom carpet - did not feel happy with this at all. The pub itself was nice.
Convenient and inexpensive restaurant downstairs. Not "good" food, but convenient. Misinformation alert: contrary to what their websites say, they do NOT have a parking lot. The nearest parking is a 15 minute walk. Our Air Conditioning did not work and it was exceptionally warm out for Dublin, so our room was 25-28 degrees with the thermostat set to 19. Lastly, there were fried onion rings spilled on the stairs to our floor from the day we checked in until the day we checked out, indicating they dont clean the hallways.
The hotel is lovely, has real character and very nice people. One problem: the phone signal is very weak and the wifi has so little security that my laptop wouldn't accept it. It's a big public service and fundamentally useless, which is a huge drawback if you want to get any work done.
This is a lovely place and we would stay here again. The layout is a little confusing as it requires going through multiple doors to get from one part of the hotel to another. And sound travels easily from the hallways and other rooms. However, it’s a gorgeous property filled with charm, and the staff is excellent.
