Happy to find a hidden gem outside of the busy Dublin area but close enough to see all the sites and beautiful mountain areas around. Highly recommend if you like smaller coastal vibes.

The lobby and reception areas are beautiful and welcoming. The room we stayed in had a great view of the sea but the windows and sill needed a good clean. Some of the furniture was in poor condition, limited channels on the Tv and the door rattled throughout a stormy night. However, a comfortable bed and high ceilings made up for any issues.

This would be a great place to take a family. I would take a cab/taxi next time up the hill as it was a hard walk. But the property is bel and worth the effort. We had a balcony and a few options, which were lovely. Definitely, would return

I always enjoy staying at Fitzpatrick Castle Hotel. Was a bit disappointed the outdoor terrace pizza and drinks bar was not open during week but still an enjoyable stay

Lovely hotel, very quiet. Staff were all friendly and helpful, room was very comfy and clean. Short walk to killiney hill which has beautiful views over the coast line.

Arrived for a 1 night stay with family. After a 6.30pm checkin it was literally impossible to get food in any of the bars or restaurants...a staff member even recommended we go elsewhere. Reverted to room service and turned out the menu in the room was not the correct one and the kitchen was serving another menu...bizarre. on the upside, breakfast next morning was very good.

Was a real treat to stay in the older portion of this castle hotel. Our room had the lavish yet elegant decor as well and modern amenities. It was a bit of a walk up the flights of stairs to the room but a room worthy of the effort with beautiful views over the grounds.

A pleasant enough hotel, I don’t think its 4 star rating is appropriate. Very pleasant & welcoming staff. The decor is dated and a little tired. Ordered room service, to be told the menu in room was out of date, so desired item not available. Food was fine, but not as listed. Two people, one set of cutlery, no salt/pepper or other condiments. It was extremely warm in the room & hotel, no air conditioning in the room or public areas we were in (lobby & room). Would not plan a return visit.

Nice property and comfortable accommodations. Very stately property in a very upscale residential area. Great access to Dalkey for exploring and enjoyed getting out of the city center. The Library Bar is a really appealing and enjoyed access to the awesome health club (fantastic pool, gym and staff). There was an abundance of food options, but would say food was average - although so convenient and appealing decor. Reminded me a lot of going to a nicer, classic country club

There is nowhere better to stay than Fitzpatrick’s castle. The hospitality is second to none. All staff are friendly and attentive. The room was spacious and clean with a balcony. We ate in the Dungeon Bar and had a wonderful meal. Cocktails that night were wonderful. The breakfast was fresh and varied and the staff attentive, friendly and fun. The pool, sauna, jacuzzi and steam room were relaxing and very welcome. Hope to stay next year again.
