The property is located close (about 2.4 km) from the start of North Wollongong parkrun. Through no fault of Green Gables Motel, there is a lot of nighttime traffic noise as the property backs onto a main road near a round-about. The water was turned off in the morning, without notice, just as we climbed into the shower. I really liked the later check-out. The room was simple, but, clean, tidy and reasonably modern.

The window in our room was smashed by their cleaners before arrival and yet we were still allocated that room even though they had others available. The room had not been dusted properly for many months. Definitely not up to scratch during this stay. Starting to look very tired and unclean. They used to be very good. Perhaps something has happened???

I booked the property around 6pm at night when i was 2 hours from the place. When i got there reception was shut and the number to call i rang 3 times with no answer and had to go to another hotel.....disgraceful....oh but they kept my money and never gave a refund!!!!!
