Staff were super friendly and helpful and the hotel had all the facilities you would expect (pool, gym, sauna, restaurants) but feels like a relatively tired hotel in need of a remodel/revamp compared to others in the Shangri-La group. Location is good in terms of Dubai Mall and some other sights like Future Museum but downtown is very noisy and not great air quality due to heavy road traffic which does not make for a relaxing rest by the pool. Probably good for the business traveller but less so for the tourist.

Shangri-La Dubai is a gorgeous property with amazing city views, but what won us over was the courteous staff and all the attention to details that went into making our 3 day stay superb. I had mentioned to Marwan on the Guest Services team that we were celebrating my daughters college graduation & they upgraded us to the Horizon Club with all the perks access to private dining and upgraded our room with a private check in. They had the room decorated for her and delivered a delicious cake & fruit to mark her achievments. The housekeeping staff to extra care of us and over overall we had a 5 star experience. We will definitely book another stay at the Shagri-La when we are in Dubai again.

My recent stay at the Shangri-La Dubai for 6 nights during the NY was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment I stepped into the lobby, I was enveloped in an aura of refined elegance. The service was impeccable – the staff is the highlight as they were not just courteous, but genuinely warm and anticipated my every need. The culinary journey was amazing. Big fan of the Vietnamese restaurant. Breakfast in the main restaurant was a feast for the senses, with an incredible variety of fresh, flavorful dishes. The Executive Lounge, however, stole the show. The evening cocktails were expertly crafted, and the canapés were divine. My room "4007" was spotlessly clean and beautifully appointed. Without a doubt, I would choose the Shangri-La Dubai again in a heartbeat. The seamless blend of impeccable service, luxurious accommodations, amazing staff and world-class facilities created an unforgettable experience.

This hotel is beyond. I traveled the world and the Shangri-La is one of the best places I’ve ever stayed in. A big shoutout to Akram and Moustafa for making my stay unbelievable.

The hotel is very nice and staff very helpful. Our room was very clean with nice view on 32 floor. We rented a car and the parking was very easy with the valet. Pool area nice and cozy. When we went there werent too many people but if this ppaxe gets packed, i think the pool size will be too small. Food is really good in all restaurants including dine in. A bit on the pricey side so if you're on a budget, best to explore the eateries just outside the hotel. Overall its a great place to stay. Very close to all the sites to see. Helpful tip. If you choose to drive. Use the Waze app and not google map. Google map is terrible here. Lots of lanes and overpasses. We got lost many times with google. Someone suggested Waze and it was night and day. We went around with ease after that.

This is a good luxury hotel with fantastic breakfast and dining options. The staff are knowledgeable and friendly and ensured our stay was comfortable every minute of the day. The restaurants in and around this hotel are upscale and fantastic. Overall, this hotel is very good value for money.
