Stayed at hotel for business. I had my two watched and diamond ring for my wife forgot in the room. Inquried about it on email. Never got any responses back. This is highway robbery. I even tipped the roommaid 100 dirhams. I will contact dubai police

Stayed at this hotel for two days for business. I left my watch and diamond ring in the room which i forgot I emailed multiple times. They never responded to me what kind of five star hotel is this. Hotel is full of indian tour bands comes in a pack. Loudly barking at night all night long You cannot sleep. Room is filthy have smoke smell present. Bed sheet was very unsanitary . Stay away. I will contact Dubai police.

Leisure facility good

Overall the hotel stay was good, it was clean and tidy. Good leisure facilities, breakfast was good and the service was great in the restaurant Check-in was slow, hotel concierge was almost non-existent; had to carry own luggage to reception but receptionist (Avnas) was good who helped to take the luggage to the room. Arranged late check out, thanks to Mariane it was agreed till 6pm but later we had extend to 11pm as their was flight delay, the reception was not prepared to extend so resulted in paying 50% of day rate.

When I got to the reception, I was not greeted at all and there were 3 recioptionists and nobody acknowledged me. They admitted a couple of other guests ahead of me and I waited for at least 7 minutes until someone came and greeted me. While helping me the receptionist was assisting other guests. I was socked as to why a Crowne Plaza hotel was so poorly managed. My room was dirty and I was extremely disappointed. The bathroom toilet bowl was dirty with drips of dried urine on the toilet bowl seat. There was an empty water bottle in the room from the previous guest. The drawer and tv stand was not wiped clean. The Deira area was also not a great area to stay in.
