It is a lovely estate, but in 2024 there is no excuse for having a place with no air conditioning. It affected the whole experience.

Room was lovely but only heating was a small plug in oil radiator. Biggest let down was the restaurant.....left standing at the entrance for about 3/4 minutes while people just walked past and ignored us, premium prices only to be served frozen french fries and peas. Service time was slow, and when asked if we could have a grass roll, was told 'you can order the artisan bread off the menu', and just after we had seen a tray piled high with rolls taken through to a function room. Starter was delicious but was about two mouthfuls big! Only saving grace was the young waitress who was working her first shift....she was lovely, and attentive, and also a little embarrassed. Didn't bother with breakfast despite having paid for it. Overall not worth the money for a one night stay, definitely much better options for a lot less.

A great hotel. We stayed in a new updated premium room which was oively. Only issue was no draws at all one basic wardrobe and no mirrors near plush ( my wife told me. Need a little More furniture in the room as it’s was lovely and big and bathroom was excellent

Lovely venue, good room and beautiful setting. Reception was overcrowded and really busy when both checking in and out - the space there is not good, layout is poor. Breakfast was good but please invest in a second coffee machine and toaster, the queues were dreadful, especially for a cup of coffee. The temperature of the hot water and towel rail was thermonuclear - kids would need to be careful.

Everything ok!
Our stay at Wotton House was ok - everything was adequate although not special. We stayed in a standard double, maybe the bigger rooms would have been more impressive. The spa was nice although a bit worn in places. Breakfast was tasty, however the choice was essentially limited to a full English breakfast. The location is good to set out for walks.
