I was very disappointed because the hot tub and pool being closed for renovation. (That was the main reason I booked this location). I was not told by the front desk, and we had to find out after we got settled in and got ready to head to the indoor pool, only to find out it was closed. Very disappointing! I understand everything needs renovation at some point in time. Although, the renovation was NOT mentioned online nor through the confirmation email of the booking. I was really counting on having the amenities to help entertain the family. VERY unhappy about the pricing of the stay as well, because of not having all the amenities that were listed when I booked the hotel. Also, house keeping did not clean/pick up dirty towels or restock the room. On the positive side the room was better in person than the pictures, and beds were very comfortable. A/c was very good, and kept the room cool at all times.

Hotel is currently is being renovated. In time it will probably be a wonderful place to stay. Currently it has torn up flooring and partially done projects in every part of the hotel that we needed to use. My room was above my expectations but it also had a couple unfinished projects. We had been told we could use the pool but that was not really a possibility with cords everywhere and dust coating everything.

Hair in shower. Drawers in cabinet open and microwave askew (looked shabby). New shower still had protective packing attached (on corners of glass). Gym closed. Junky breakfast. Under construction/renovation throughout building. No more La Quinta for me.

First of all, the room was very nice and big. We rented a suite for 6 women. It should have been known the sleeper sofa would be used. But we had to ask for bedding. They had no pillows though, telling us they keep getting stolen. The hotel is under construction, so the pool and workout room are closed. They don't tell you this. Their coffee is made in an old metal big pot. It leaks into a garbage can. It tastes horrible and looks disgusting. Coffee is very important to travelers. Go purchase a couple of keurigs! Grab some pillows while you're at it. Pick the cigarette butts up that litter the welcoming area. Clean the spiders and bugs out of the stairwell. Empty your outdoor garbage. The pictures in your website in no way match the interior. I can appreciate renovations, but you need to give me the option of whether I want to stay in a place that does not have all amenities available that are listed...

Renovations. Avoid

Do not stay here. I hope those looking for a hotel pass this one by. And what ever you do if staying here avoid room 212. We were awaken numerous times from talking frombthe lobby all night long. The lobby is under renovation, pool closed due to renovations. We were there with kids fir 4 days with a siftball tournament weekend. Not relaxing at all. This was our third year back and staying here as was amazing years past. Will not stay again. Our check in lady in the day we arrived treated us lime we were boyhering her.

Room fine - active remodel off putting

Our room was newly remodeled and frankly not fully set (no info on TV remote use - there were 2 which never seemed to make sense). The room was stark with only on picture on the walls. No carpeting - which is good on one hand but cold on the other. The bathroom finishes were great - We should have suspected this as when we entered the lobby was in a major active remodel zone - the pool was closed, the fitness room was closed, drywall in various stages of installation etc. All this is OK IF one knows this going into it but there was no info about this in the hotel description on Hotels.com …. seems like this would be important info to know.

We were not told about the construction when we booked our room and were quite surprised when we arrived and checked in at a gutted lobby! The staff were doing their best, i believe, with what they had to work with. We were traveling with a dog, and the surrounding area was kind of sketchy to walk in. I might be inclined to try you again when the construction is done.

Beware Hotels.com

I don’t really pin this on the hotel as much as I do on Hotel.com. But, hands down the worst booking experience. The hotel was in remodel mode which was never mentioned so it didn’t look clean or neat and was a mess. On top of that, no fitness center, no pool. We essentially booked a room (2x) and it wasn’t even that great of a room as there was damage all over; needed new updates, etc. None of this was mentioned in our booking. The crazy thing is they charge the same price for an experience that is about 1/2 of what it normally is with construction.
