Place to lay our heads, waterslide had been out since November, disappointed Grandchild. Could not control heat in room. Continental breakfast was in totally different building, no vending but a pop machine.

I don't know if it should be called a hotel or even a motel. The carpets are probably 30 years old, and unfortunately, Detroit Lakes folks just go there to swim and spend a night, not knowing that they are probably robbed of a poor environment, not even worth their payment. The doors don't even work. You have to push with your shoulders to open them. That place should be closed down, rebuilt, or better renovated. It needs to be inspected by the MN State Department.

Lackluster.
Wrong keys given, mixed up the room I ordered, pool area is in a different building, freezing cold pool, cold hot tub and water slide was not working. Lackluster breakfast.

Most times this is my “go” to place, but the last couple of times I’ve been disappointed, because their pool and hot tub are have been shut down. That is the reason why I book with them…I look forward to relaxing in the hot tub. The worst thing about it, they never knock off any money for the inconvenience.

Nice Stay
The price was right for the accommodations and service. Older property but kept clean, employees were friendly. Breakfast consisted of Jimmy Dean sausage/egg microwavable sandwiches and bagels, waffles, yogurt, juice, etc.. I would stay here again if the price range remains the same. There was a sign at the front desk stating the pool was closed but we did not care about using the pool.

Hockey teams were running up and down hallways until 1:30 am yelling and being disruptive. Continued even after staff members addressed issues. Very disappointing stay due to other hotel guests. Overall room was clean and satisfactory. However not being able sleep was very frustrating. The general manager offered a refund but did not follow through with the offer.
