Our stay was amazing, will definitely stay here in the future again. Only caution is Valet gets very bogged down if you try to leave around the checkout time
There really isn’t a pool at this property. Lobby has holes in the ceiling. Rough clientele coming in and out of what I am assuming is a bar downstairs.
Such a cool hotel! Funky decor. Speakeasy feel. Welcoming and friendly staff. The Candy Bar and the cafe croissants are a must!

My daughter and i went to a concert at Little Caesars and didn’t want to have to drive home late at night! It was an amazing stay for us. We loved the decor and convenience. The staff was very friendly!
The people are super nice and helpful. The hotel has a funky vibe which we liked. Room was fairly cold but we found a space heater in the the cabinet so that worked. No closet just one hook to hang clothes on. No fridge in room but was told we could request one. We were only there one night so no big deal. FYI Ash restaurant recently closed. Location is GREAT.
Aesthetic of the place was amazing, and the front desk was super nice. The elevators went out of service the morning we checked out and had to carry all of our heavy stuff down multiple floors. Also the cleaning lady started going room by room down the hallway around 8 am being so loud we couldn’t sleep in. She probably woke us up 9 times slamming doors and clanging things around
Had a damn people mover right outside the window and had to keep shades closed to prevent people from looking in window.bEliminated the view from the city. Very disappointed
Very beautiful old hotel. Vintage furnishing all over, truly a stunning place. The lady at the front desk at night was very kind. The valet workers were very nice and efficient. The gentleman behind the bar at the ashbar was awesome. I even met his ne of the maintenance guys who was super friendly and a few housekeepers who were very nice. I would say the only thing it was lacking was a coffee maker in the room, that would have been nice! And it is fairly noisy but you can expect that as it is downtown. Overall we loved it, and if we ever go back to Detroit, this is where we will be staying! Thank you all!

The property was very much themed like a brothel. It is very cool in that aspect, but when you book for a hotel and get a tiny room and no where to move. The thermostat was pre set, no matter how high/low you adjust. The bed was extremely low to the ground but ok.
I paid over $300 and was maybe worth $120 at best a night for what you get.
Very much for a younger crowd I would say.
