I absolutely adore The Siren and stay here often. The location is incredible, the staff are very friendly and attentive and the vibe is perfect. Make a reservation at Candy Bar, enjoy a meal at Ash Bar and have a great time in Detroit, starting here!

Cute but cold

Lovely hotel- but very cold. With high ceilings and old windows, the heat couldn’t keep up and never got above 65 in the room, regardless of thermostat settings. Otherwise very nice, but this really limited my enjoyment of the room. Would have told the desk clerk about it but he didn’t ask how my stay was when I checked out.

Having never stayed in downtown Detroit we were happy with our room and the ambiance of the hotel until we climbed into bed, where we found a pair of women’s socks in between the sheets at the foot of the bed. The room appeared to have been cleaned when we arrived, and there was even a nice welcome note on the bed.

Great staff and cute rooms. The hotel does not have room service. The receptionist, Ivory was very customer centric and we truly appreciate his service.

The siren hotel was such an amazing experience! The staff was very kind and very informative! The bars in the hotel are so much fun. This hotel is right next to so many restaurants and bars. It’s also right next to the people mover. So it is a great place to stay no matter where you plan to go downtown Detroit.

Very Friendly Staff

The staff is very friendly and accommodating. One of the two elevators was out of service, but it didn't cause any inconvenience. The rooms are small, but that's to be expected in this type of hotel. Rooms do not have refrigerators or coffee pots. Be sure to check out the record store/bar next store - Paramita Sound. It's awesome!

Hidden Historical Detroit Gem

Hidden gem inside a historical building in the heart of downtown Detroit. We loved it and all of the charms The Siren had to offer. Hesitated in giving a review because I want this place to remain a secret! We love The Siren!

The hotel was unique. Definitely a very old building but they have done an okay job of making it nice. The rooms are very very small, and the bed was pretty uncomfortable. Overall I would stay there again if I had to.
