As we entered, we were informed that the hot water in the building was not working, that there was no plan to get it fixed, and that we could rebook. As we were already in town and there were no other hotels available within several miles we opted to stay, but we’re not given any option for a discount or anything else. The entire hotel smelled like skunky marijuana. The sound on the television in our room was broken and the refrigerator froze all of our leftovers. None of the hotel amenities are accessible to anyone under the age of 21 so my 19-year-old daughter was not able to access even the restaurants on the property.

At the check in counter, we were told the hotel has no hot water and asked if we wanted to cancel or reschedule. It would have been great if they sent email ahead of time to let you know, and not when you're at the counter.

The hotel was good except their boiler went out so we had no hot water for showers. They did reimburse us for the resort fee. Other than that the place was nice and plenty to do. Easy to grab Ubers to were you needed to go.

It was almost perfect…
There were a couple of hairs in the sink, which I can get over but the room and hotel were clean, staff was friendly but at 4:15am there was an issue with some people in the hallway. There was yelling, security was involved and at that point no going back to bed. And honestly at 4:00 I didn’t even bother calling because what was I going to do? Switch rooms for 2 hrs before I had to be where I needed to be for work? And with security there, they obviously knew there was an issue. It was really unfortunately because it ruined an otherwise really nice stay.

Great location no hot water
Great location, very clean, provided a shuttle to the game, free valet parking with stay, awesome casino, everything is within walking distance, friendly staff and service. We woke up in the morning with NO HOT WATER, called the front desk and we were told the boiler was reset and should be ready in 30 mins. 2 hours later still no hot water, no shower before we left at 11a checkout. Our group had 5 rooms and ALL had no hot water, some were given nothing, one room was comped $100. The majority was given a $30 food credit for our next stay. We won't be back until next year who's to say anyone will know about it. No paperwork given. Ridiculous how it veried person to person. Not happy the way it was handled.

The hotel itself is beautiful and I felt very safe in our room. The view was great. The bed comfortable. There was an issue with our water. I needed to take a shower and I could not because the water was ICE COLD. Not even lukewarm for a quick one. My husband and I do not get time away often so this was a special occasion and I planned on getting ready in our room. I was obviously still able to get ready but not the way I would have liked. It is also January and snowing out. We chose this hotel because of the convenience to walk. With it being a snowy Friday night, the shower would have been a wonderful way to end the night. I tried again and still no sign of any warm water. Overall, the hotel is nice and if the water was not pure ice, I would have been very happy. When checking out, multiple guests stated the same issue and you could tell the woman at the desk was not interested in hearing about it. I understand it is not her fault, but you are customer service so you should at least let the guests know it is now a known issue and working on being resolved at the very least unless this is how it always is there.

The “non-smoking” area is right by the smoking area. They aren’t even separated by a door. It smelled so bad. The rooms were loud and you could hear everything all night. We couldn’t get our heat to turn off and woke up to our room at 80°. The only good thing was the proximity to Ford Field.
