I was offered a King bed river view room as an upgrade at my online check-in, so I added that upgrade. When I got there to check in, I still had to wait in line and wait for more than ten minutes for the desk agent to take down my driver's license even though I had uploaded that when I checked in online(???) When she handed me my keys, I asked, and she assured me that yes, it was a river-view room. After dragging all of our things up to the 16th floor we find that it was not a river-view room. I called down to inquire and was put on hold. After about 6 minutes of no response I hung up and went down to the lobby, dragging all of our stuff along with us. After another ten minutes of her telling me there were no river-view rooms available (then why was I offered one at my on-line and pointless check-in?) she finally tells me they were able to 'upgrade' us to a river-view room with a queen bed and when I asked how a queen bed was an upgrade from a king bed, she said it was a suite. The room was not a suite, it was a regular room with a queen bed and a tiny bathroom - no extra space to qualify it as a 'suite'. Overall the room didn't feel super clean, the outlets, phone, etc. all seemed dusty and everything was dingy overall. Not impressed with this room overall for over $400 - at least it had a river-view (FINALLY) but the room overall was not in any way an 'upgrade' when I reserved and paid for a King Room with a river-view.

Staff was friendly, but this hotel is old and need of a makeover. The bathrooms were so tiny. Housekeeping never came- so we called down on day 2 to ask for towels. They never came. We stopped by front desk and asked for towels to be sent up- they never came. We called again- no one answered. We tried to call and order room service- coffee for room- no one ever answered. The hotel is convenient to Q line and all things downtown, but not worth the price.

We checked in and as soon as we walked in, none of the lights worked. They were all unplugged. Once the lights were on, we found left over trash from the previous guest. We were “upgraded” to another room but it was the same room on a different floor.

Everything was pretty decent, what threw me for a loop hole was the parking situation. I’ve never seen a hotel without parking for the guests. To be forced to pay $40 extra a day for valet parking in addition to paying for the Hotel was insane. Feels like high way robbery to be honest. I’ll never stay again, the actual hotel was decent, just don’t like the extra charges of parking.

It was ok! I found a false eyelash that looked like a centipede behind the nightstand. I’ve never seen such a tiny bathroom in my life; however the water pressure in the bathtub-shower combo is top tier! Chefs kiss!! The beds are hard as hell. Staff was friendly and I appreciated the welcome drinks and snacks!
