The property looked a little run down on the inside. You can tell it hasnt had any renovations in years. The room was comfortable and it was quiet until night time where everyone decides they want to be loud in the halls. And it smelled like weed really strong in the halls. It was okay for my trio out there but ill pay more for better next time

Baymont stay
It was a great room. We checked out a day early. Tried checking out at desk but person at desk was in back so we left. Tried seeing if we could get a discount for not using the room a second day.

There was a cockroach in my room which turned me off immensely. the bath was also quite dirty. We told the lady at the front desk and she was very nice and accommodating, she moved us to a new room. Customer service is great but the hotel is nasty

I did not stay because i never received a confirmation number from Expedia. After being on hold for 40 min I said cancel. They charged my card anyways. In my opinion this is border line fraud. The staff at th hotel were very nice but could not help me because the confirmation number was not in their system.

This wasn’t the worst experience but you definitely get what you pay for. There’s only 1 window in each room that opens to the hallway so it feels pretty dark unless you’re fine with people looking in as they walk by. Half of the rooms smell like smoke/weed and the other half aren’t completely clean or stocked. Staff were reasonably friendly and helpful but there’s only so much they can do to make the experience better. Don’t count on the breakfast. There are no protein options, just a bunch of fruit, some packaged pastry and a waffle maker. Location is fine but could be better. Not the best area to walk at night.

Did not have hot water to shower at night. Noise travelled directly into the room, and you were able to hear people constantly chatting outside the halls. Shower bottles/lotion were not filled up. No room service. There was loud construction going on early morning.

A Decent Stay
I've stayed here plenty of times over the years, because I love the convenience of the location. The owner is always great, whenever he's working. He's very friendly and helpful. Always accommodating. The room could still use some upgrades. A microwave or fridge, would be nice. The shower was great. The water gets really hot, which I love. The shower/tub itself needs to be redone and add new shower curtains. My towels were really old and dingy looking. They didn't look fresh. The hotel carpet needs to be reinstalled, as well. There's pros and cons. The pros outweigh the cons for me, so I'll stay here whenever i need somewhere close to downtown that's budget friendly.

We were glad to get a last minute room for a game at Ford Field and we easily caught an uber, although there was a shuttle from the hotel to the city and back available too. Breakfast was included. It is a little simple and a little dated , but clean and perfect for what we needed. The staff were friendly and helpful.

Didn't care for this room, it was just convenient for our needs. Its similar to a motel which I wasn't aware of before hand. Giant window to the hallway left an uneasy feeling. No fridge or microwave. Tv was tiny. Parking was difficult its kind of crammed in between restaurants. Shower water pressure is good and hot though.
