The pictures make this hotel look great! It is not cleaned well blood on the walls, smashed bugs from previous guest, sticky candy all over the floors just to name some issues. The chairs at the pools are molded and need to be replaced. One elevator working for days with a packed hotel. WILL NEVER STAY HERE AGAIN WORST TRU EXPERIENCE!

The property is very clean and inviting! Excellent location . The staff at the front desk were very friendly and welcoming. The amenities available is an indoor heated pool, an outside pool with a plenty space for kids to wade or stand under the umbrella waterfall. My family enjoyed a game of corn hole and connect four on the patio outside. The hotel is walking distance from Henderson State Park, we enjoyed a beautiful beach day at the state park, Big Kahuna Water Park and plenty games over at Arcade. Everything was within a mile of the hotel. Our room was very spacious and the twin bunks came with 2 TVs. Although the hotel is centrally located, it’s very quiet and comfortable. We will definitely stay at this location again.

I like the lounge area indoors and the outdoor pool and games. The indoor swimming pool is very small. Most of the staff was helpful and knowledgeable about surrounding area activities. Overall it was a good experience.

This very much felt like a college dorm. Busy, loud, and kind of cramped. Our room was directly across from the staff service room and what seemed like all day and night, the door was opening and slamming shut. My wife complained to me several times about it. She said that there should be a discount for anyone who has to use that particular room. I will take the blame for not doing more research on your TRU brand. As larger sized people, that extra missing two feet of space was sorely missed. I don't think we'll be return visitors to the TRU brand. Finally, of the three Hilton brand hotels we've stayed in this trip, only one has actively recognized our Hilton honors status upon arrival. I'm not sure if this is because we're relatively new to the program or something else? It would be nice if it was acknowledged @ the onset.
