Property is within waking distance from Walmart and Henderson State Park. Property was quiet. There was always a strong clean smell of disinfectant in the hallways. Staff was very quiet and were helpful when pried for answers, but not friendly. There were not rude, just made us feel awkward. Mattress in room was terribly firm and hard. Neither of us got a good night's rest our entire stay. Breakfast was amazing. Inroom coffee pot and microwave would be great.

A quick “Staycation”
My wife and I enjoyed our stay here. The breakfast was good, service was great, and the room was nice. Only issues we had were minor but bearable. Our room had a noisy air conditioning system and the toilet had a slow tank leak so the tank was refilling every 5 minutes. I would definitely stay here again!

Great stay.
Hotel was great! Nice indoor pool and an amazing outdoor pool. Great lobby and breakfast area. Breakfast had a little bit of everything and was perfect for picky eaters. Room was spacious and comfortable. Only minor thing was the friendliness. From check-in, breakfast staff and check out, we found the staff non-communicative. No hellos, good mornings, thank you nothing. Just bland. No smiles.

I was very impressed with the property. I felt very safe and the property was very clean. It's going to be my home away from home. They had me when I smelled pine sol. You can't go wrong staying here. The breakfast was great. Indoor pool was heated. I noticed them cleaning the white fence outside. I'm home

We came to Destin for a wedding. Our stay at Tru was absolutely amazing. It was very clean, the staff was outstanding and the breakfast was some of the best included breakfast I’ve had at a hotel. The area around the hotel had everything that we needed and we didn’t have to travel more than 10 mins to get to anything. The area and the hotel made us want to make Destin our go to for vacation.
