The room was nice and comfortable We were on the first floor so had a nice view of the pool area when opening the window. Upon arriving the front desk agent who checked me in I believe she was the manager, she was not pleasant at all , and when I made it to the room and turned the television on and tried to watch Netflix I couldn’t the message on the tv said there was no internet connection so I called the front desk and was told that she would send maintenance out to look they didn’t come that night I’m not sure if they were gone being I checked in like 10pm so the next morning I woke up early and was out all day and upon returning later that evening tried to see if the Netflix would work hoping someone came when I was out but still not working I called the front desk and she stated someone came but it still wasn’t able to watch Netflix which was disappointing my whole 3 days there. I did get a chance to eat the free continental breakfast which was horrible could definitely be better

I enjoyed my stay here. The room and lobby were clean and tidy, with a nice location and a few nice places in a walkable distance. The breakfast choices could’ve been better, but what can I say? It’s free. :) Still a great place to stay, I will be returning if I’m ever in Destin again.

This hotel is very nice and full of accommodations close to the beach and restaurants. Rooms are nice and equipped with refrigerator, sink and dishwasher all fully stocked. Bathroom has body wash , shampoo , conditioner and lotion all in full sized containers. I will definitely be back with my family as the splash pad and pool area looked so nice !

Couples 3 day getaway. Loved the hotel decor. Room was spacious, clean and well appointed. Good location with beach access just across the street. Boardwalk a very short drive. Putt Putt and other activities next door. Pool and hot tub area really nice. No complaints but would highlight the front desk associate was dry no greeting or smile with check in or check out, customer service was a miss. However, would definitely stay here again.

Everything was amazing. From the cleanliness to location of the hotel was excellent. You’re a few minutes away from the beach and the local Walmart. Our family was very pleased.

We booked this hotel at the last minute do to the original hotel we booked next door was filthy. Staff was very kind and did their best to be helpful all during our 7 night stay. The only negatives were the hotel carpets need an update, the hot tub/splash pad were not consistently running, and the hotel free breakfast didn't have a waffle station. The hallway carpets were stained in high traffic areas and our room had something spilt on the carpet between the beds that was sticky. The splash pad worked the first dAy we were there but the rest of the week it was down. The hot tub was empty 3 mornings and once cleaned and filled they temp was lukewarm at best until the 4th day when it seemed like it finally got resolved. The pool was treated daily however efforts to remove debris/trash were a little lacking. There were no cameras around the pool area which is a concern for safety. The breakfast was good and they served breakfast tacos on the bar which was a first, and a nice change. Variety was a bit lacking and other than oatmeal, fruit and muffins there wasn't a waffle station which would have been a nice addition. The entire staff were kind and helpful and went out of their way to accommodate our needs. We saw the manager every day and he played an active role in helping several staff members perform duties as well as caring for guests needs. I would definitely book another stay with Homewood Suites.
