The staff is always super fantastic! The rooms are very nice and clean. The property is very nicely maintained. Restaurants are close and shopping areas are not far away. It’s definitely our preferred place to stay when visiting the Des Moines area.

We love the decor, one of the reasons we choose the hotel. The price was fair for the time of our stay. The hotel was clean, we'll kept, the staff friendly and courteous, the free breakfast was simple yet filling and had enough variety to satisfy anyone's wishes for a breakfast to start your day.

WOW!!!
The cleanest hotel room I’ve been in in for well over a decade. I found out how old this hotel was and impressed me even more! The desk clerk had a 30 year service on her shirt. We checked in about 10:00 PM. She was there wiping down tables in the breakfast area at 8:00 for breakfast. An amazing experience all around!!!

Really good overall. Breakfast lacked much for real nutritious high protein and fiber with low sugar options. Powder eggs from a bag and biscuits and gravy is such a 2000 hotel breakfast. Do boiled eggs, milk, water, oatmeal, berries, fruit, nuts. Overall happy but bummed with breakfast options. Grabbed a banana and ran.

i come to the des moines area every year and always stay here. it is a very homey and calm vibe and i have never had an issue. the staff is friendly and helpful. great area and cute rooms. Only issue i had was trying to check in early which i was not able to do, but they were friendly about it. would stay again
