The hotel overlooked the Des Moines River and the State Capitol making the views at night stunning. There was a little road noise at night but that is expected staying downtown. Had a great time visiting Des Moines.

The room was very clean. Hotel was nice. No disappointment there. The down side was the drinks for the continental breakfast. The orange juice and coffee were watered down to where there was no taste to either drink. The OJ looked like pineapple juice and the coffee was brown water
