I stayed at this hotel 26 years ago when it was The Apple Tree in. It’s an older, run down property in need of a face lift. There were hairs in the tub and it just looked old and sad. There’s also not an elevator… we were lucky to be on the first floor… I would not have wanted to carry my bags up the stairs. It’s not a bad hotel, it just needs a facelift. Staff was friendly.

Everything was great except the pillows are way too thick. I finally had to sleep without one. I sleep on my side and not very big so it made my head not be aligned with my spine. I like a flatter pillow that I can either scrunch or fold over

This place was the perfect retreat for an overnight stay! Everything was so clean & cozy feeling. The silly signs made us laugh a lot and the continental breakfast was the perfect variety of things. It’s right across from a Walmart and next to fast food which was perfect for our quick trip to the area. We will definitely be back!

The hotel is independent and locally run. My room was spotless and comfortable. The front desk workers were polite and efficient. The free breakfast was more than adequate. Of the hotels in Indianola in which I have stayed this was by far the best option.
