Good location for airport & race circuit
I was at Donington Park race circuit again. I always stay here at the Radisson. Car park was full - most are for the park and fly offers, I assume. Lots of parking for people on holiday. It is August, though!! Check-in was ok and a clean room allocated. Water pressure in the room was poor. Shower etc. I didn’t eat at the hotel but used the bar, which is located to the side of the lobby, just outside the restaurant. Bar was good service but they won’t make an Old Fashioned. They don’t do ‘cocktails’. Usual question - would I stay again? It’s a Yes. It’s fine.

Style over substance
Stayed here for two nights when attending an event at Donnington Race circuit, having stayed here once before for the same reason. Shuttle from the airport was quick and convenient. The room was clean and comfortable and the staff were pleasant. My main issue was the cost, and more importantly the quality of the food on offer. We ate in the restaurant with friends on our first night which was expensive in terms of both value and quality. Breakfast, as others have mentioned was luke warm and disappointing, despite the selection on offer. Ate in the bar on our second night and paid £20 for a very average, supermarket quality pizza and £5 for what tasted like cheap oven chips. Not bad enough to complain about, otherwise I would have, but certainly didn’t live up to our expectations by a long way, Won’t be staying here again.

Let down by Food.
Excellent hotel in a great location. Only downside was the disparity between the food cost and quality. We had an evening meal and the steak was bland and tough, my son's pizza was a supermarket "Goodfellows". Hot breakfast items were also tough. Could do better. On the other hand Karen was excellent during breakfast and attended to my wife's Gluten Free requirements.
