Perhaps I have rather high expectations when it comes to paying almost 200.00 a night, could not use the pool because someone mixed the chemicals wrong and the entire 3rd floor (pool floor) was covered in a blanket of toxic chlorine gas. The first thing I noticed was a huge rip in the curtains- stains on the furniture and the door handle to the bathroom was broken. No house keeping unless you request it- and when I requested more towels- they got handed to me to carry to my room. Uh- excuse me? Regardless - 50.00 a night to park a car in the garage and count on 60-100.00 a meal if you want the convenience of an “on site” restaurant - depending on your family size. I will be looking elsewhere next visit.

Potential to be great. However, it’s just average

The hotel service at front desk and overall is excellent. However, the room we had was just average due to lack of maintenance. Our bathroom slider door was broken. The blinds were broke. The TV remote barely worked. The pillows were very weak. The shower leaked nonstop. While any one of these things individually might not be a big deal, the collective however adds up to a very meh experience. The gym is nice (although the treadmills do not all work) and the pool is really nice. Parking is $50/night and only option is valet. For these reasons, I would probably recommend looking elsewhere. Lots of options in Denver.

We loved this hotel. In addition to being clean and having a nice restaurant, there was a grocery store directly across the street, so we were able to go there a few times. Very walkable and close to downtown, restaurants, and bars.

I stayed here for a few days to get out of town. Prices were decent since there was no baseball game scheduled. Ball arena was also fairly close by but I did not attend any games. Parking is an additional $50 per day outside of the cost of your room so be aware!! I did happen to remove sheets from my mattress and there were stains all over it! Kind of gross!! Other than that no complaints, I enjoyed the room and the location overall. Lots of places to visit on 16th street if you are willing to walk. I did not use union station to visit other parts of downtown but I should have. Might be worth checking into if you stay here.
