Great location and price. The only that I did not like was the front desk did not explain the incidental fees (how much it was each night and the parking fees) she just put it on my account. That was rude and taken for granted. There were no signs posted in the lobby area or checkin counter.
This stay was wonderful. The accommodations were a great value for the price. There is construction in the hotel right now and I know that made it difficult for one guest I saw in the elevator, but it was not an issue for us. We got a newly remodeled room, so it was very clean. The front desk staff was pleasant and helpful. The location was perfect and close to everything we needed. The restaurant was being remodeled but they managed to offer a menu for B/L/D and a seating area that was cozy, clean and convenient. I really enjoyed the stay and would stay here again.
We exhibit at the convention center and have booked 10 rooms each year. For the last 2 years, we have stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn downtown. Although it wasn't fancy, it is a very clean, quiet hotel that is close to the convention center and restaurants, has a gated parking ramp and most of all, an incredible staff that is dedicated to customer service. They are just finishing major renovations throughout the hotel, so we can't wait to go back next year.
My concerns had nothing to do with the hotel nor the service but other issues.
The people next to me purposely kept slamming the doors all day and night.
I tried to increase the room temperature but the thermostat wouldn’t go higher than 72 degrees considering it was 11 degrees outside.
This was the perfect place for our weekend event. Centrally located with convenient parking. Entire place was very clean and the front desk person was awesome. We would definitely stay here again.
