While our stay at this hotel was good we had several issues. The first issue was with the staff; when we first checked in the young man manning the counter was rather rude. He was nowhere to be found (or the entire time we were there) unless we rang the bell and when he did service us he mumbled, never smiled and seemed miserable. Not exactly a hospitable attitude.
When we arrived in our room we noticed 2 issues right away. The air conditioner made an awful grinding noise—which we would never be able to sleep through—and the bathroom door had been converted to a sliding, barn-door style which left a huge gap between the door and wall meaning we would not have privacy in the bathroom.
When we called the front desk to mention the issue with the air conditioner originally they just told us they would send a maintenance person down—as though anyone who just started their vacation wants to wait around while their room air conditioner is fixed. However, once we pressed the issue and asked if we could have a different room the staff complied, though seemingly annoyed about it.
Our second room was larger but had numerous issues. Both the toilet paper roll holder and bath faucet were crooked, as though someone had installed them while drunk. While only an aesthetic issue it's not something you want to see when you are paying to stay at a hotel. Secondly, the comforter on the bed was ripped on the inside; the inner stuffing was exposed due to a large rip near the edge.
We checked in on a day the system shut down and they were a mess upon checking in. I had reserved 2 queen beds as I have my children with me and was changed to a king bed or offered a refund. They did comp a rollaway bed at the very least. However given then mess upon arrival the front staff was always polite, helpful, and courteous. They always greeted the guests with a smile and a hello. The service was great. The beds are comfortable and the rooms were clean. The spa was out of order but the pool was so warm it made up for it. I would definately stay here again knowing that I will be taken care of. I appreciate the front staff! Thank you!
We enjoyed our stay. Easy entry at both ends. I have to say the Dark Roast coffee was the best coffee I have ever had. The breakfast had a good variety. The desk staff that we encountered were all spot on with making eye contact, smiling and spoke to us each time we walked in or out. We had an iron malfunction & he brought us a new on right away. The popcorn machine was an added plus!! We will be booking here again in July for a wedding.
I would like to see breakfast improve a little with more choices: cheese, more fruit such as berries

Great customer service, free popcorn and coffe was great. Room was okay but ha c stains on the couch & hot tub was not in service. We got a room with a pull out bed but they had no pillows or blankets for it. The pillows for the beds were small little squares. Breakfast was good.
